| Welcome to the forum. You'll always find a lot of very nice, helpful people here. I'm so sorry about your daughter-in-law, for the pain it's causing you and your family, on top of everything else you're going through. Please believe what Nancy said about what you did not being a crime. I completely agree with her that this guy is just trying to scare you, and it's probably because you've scared him. I would suggest that you not see an attorney unless you've been served, or unless the attorney is going to offer you a free consultation. Honest attorneys (there are some) will tell you that you're throwing your money out the window to try to retain them if you haven't already had papers served. Most people who threaten to sue you are, as Nancy said, just using it as a scare tactic to back you down. If anything, you should be suing them. Your story has given me a great deal of inspiration, but I won't go into the reasons for that right now, because this is your thread. I do want to say, though, that your dedication and persistence has helped me make up my mind about something, and for that, I'm very grateful. Thanks, and much love, Jade |

| but I'd bet my life that's not the same dog. Even if you take away the bow and necklace and account for the lighting and background, it doesn't even have the same face. |

Breeds more then one breed. Designer dogs. You can not spend enough time with all of the puppies if you have a large volume of them. I counted and she has 37 yorkies with more pictures posted of the younger ones soon 4 little Chihuahua more puppies will be posted 4 poodles with more puppies will be posted soon. Designs dogs range from yorkie poo, morkie (that means she also breeds maltese but does not have any shown) and some other yorkie mix. That is a lot of puppies, her family alone can not help with this. So some puppies probably will be neglected and I have to say your little one is cute, but I believe she confused yours with a bad bred of a yorkie. Or maybe she is great with stealing pictures. All I know is that puppy could not be same the same puppy you have now. Take it to court and let them decide who is lying. But you need to decide if you want to keep the puppy or give it back. Most courts will not allow you to keep him/her and get money back on him/her. Oh does anyone think the noses are different? Lesson learned for me.... ask for updated normal wear and tear pictures, your puppy playing, eating, videos are wonderful also. | |

| She was on two different meds for Giardia/ Coccidia. And cough syrup and two antibiotics for Kennel Cough. Not to mention that my other Dog caught the Guardia and had to be treated as well. She had to be treated three times for the Giardia because it just wouldn't go away. For the Giardia she was on Albon/Panacur and finally Flagyl. She was very sick. Thank you for your concern. |

| Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | I really feel for you, its the sh ts...I too bought a dog from someone I thought was reputable. He was supposed to be no bigger than 5lb and I thought from her lines. He turned out to be from someone else altogether and hes now almost 10 lb, he came with giardia, cocilia, and a bout of kennel cough, he now is going on 4 yrs and has very serious alergies and IBS. What can you do when you fall in love with them, dump them because they are not what you wanted? I couldnt. Im sure others couldnt either, thats why these unreputable breeders get away with this kind of thing. All troubles aside, I hope you have a wonderful life with your new baby. L |

| I am new here, but reading this makes me know that their are people that have hearts and will listen to us when needed. My heart goes out to you with the lost of your daughter in law and the children. As far as the breeder, they should not be in the business as we all know. I breed on occasion, but only sell to referrals. I would never send a different pup to anybody. In fact I just had a return puppy because the family could not adjust to new puppy, his and her kids fighting over the pup. I bought her back and re-sold her to a wonderful home. My pups are my granddoggies and I keep in touch with all buyers to make sure health is good on them etc. So there are many of us small breeders that are good with raising these bundles of joy, if not for us many of you would not have pups to love. | Just for comparison, heres my puppy at 8 weeks and again at 12 weeks. Except for a little more silver color, I think she looks the same in both pictures. Im not convinced the two puppies in the pictures she posted are the same puppy.

| Has anyone read the contract. This seems a little off to me. I personally would not have signed the contract with the way it was written. Seems she wants a say in the choice of a vet (two vets) and the buyer has to pay for it. I understand you the seller would pay for the first, but the second needs to be on the breeder, not the buyer. It is the breeder's puppy. I would call AKC and let them know the trouble, and let them see the pictures of what you bought and what you got. They might not do anything, but you never know. Also she states she only covers heart and liver for the first 6 months. Sometimes a problem could take a 6-12 months before it is noticed. What it means by loss of hair, I have no idea but I would have gotten off her site by then. This raises a flag for me, I have not seen anyone post that as a problem when they sale their babies. Looking at the two pictures it does seem like yours has hair loss or is very very thin. |

| I'm so sorry for your loss and all the heartache you and your family have been put thru. Personally, I think bringing a puppy into your lives after such a tragic loss is a wonderful idea. That is how we got Roxy. When my DH passed away very unexpectedly a few days before my dts's 17th birthday, we were devastated. She had wanted a yorkie for a long time so she started looking and found Roxy locally. She paid for her with her 1st soc. sec. check. Roxy was a godsend in helping fill the void. Your little one will bring so much joy to your family when all this heartache settles down. One way to look at it is, even tho you were horribly deceived, you have saved the life of a defensless little soul that could have been sent to someone lacking the compassion you obviously have only to be tossed aside to some shelter or worse. You are giving her the love and life she deserves. Bless you for that. Yes, she's a different puppy, but she's still a cutie and will grow a beautifull little girl. It's a shame you came to YT under these circumstances, but you will find many caring people with a ton of info to help you. Welcome, and I, for one, am looking forward to watching your little one grow. You, your family and, especially your baby, will be in my prayers.

Report them to AKC and also I would keep the emails and notify the airline that she is saying the airline mixed them up and let the airline contact her about saying that! They are trying to scare you...don't let them and push them to the furthest extent of the law! They keep doing this to people like you and it's simply not fair to the buyer or the puppies. They are making a living at the expense of other people's broken hearts. I AM SO SORRY THIS HAPPENED TO YOU. MAKE THEM PAY!
