| [QUOTE=kezza;2110556]OH!!!! my apologies to you Sugarsmom!!! This has shown me too that there are 2 sides to every story!! I just get soooo suspicious of breeders now with all the stories i have read on here! obviously I don't know you personally..but you seem to be well known and respected on here as a breeder and for that i apologise again! I felt so sorry for this poster as she seemed so disappointed. oooooooooh I feel sooooo silly I kind of think it is all funny because most of the people on this thread are new and don't know who I am. no need for you to apologize. AND no, I won't sell him for ten thousand dollars. LOL |

| Julie I'm not sure if you had your heart set for a male for a certain reason. But females are just as sweet. If you want a puppy so bad then you shouldn't be upset with the possiblity of getting a female instead. Sometimes these small tiny ones are kept for several months before they ever leave the homes of where they were raised. Its not unusual not to get rid of one for 5 mos or so. They are so delicate that is the raising that makes them so high. There is alot involved and alot of love from the breeder that goes into these wee little guys. Maybe you being the first time owner haven't read all the issues that these yorkies have and what they need far as assistance throughout the day when there are problems. Are you home all the time to watch him? Possible if you still want him and want to wait several more months to see if this certain baby has issues or not you can work something out with Dee. But she is only doing this for her puppies best interest and for you heart not to be broken after getting him. I have to say this is the type of breeder you want to give you instructions on how and what happens with these guys. She doesn't want to sell you something and then you have tons of problems down the line. And that can and does happen. You don't want a breeder that gives up there babies at 6 or 8 weeks and has no ideal what is going to happen them them. Those are the ones that will not stand behind there contracts. Dee you puppies are really cute I went to your website. I hope this all can be worked out. I think Julie is just going through a disappointment and will look in the future that it was the best. What we all have learned from being here at YT and from buying our first yorkie. There is always things for us to learn.

| The only thing is that I would not want a pup shipped. I see that your a very good breeder, and have your puppies best interest at heart. Perhaps Julie will see this too, and either wait and see what happens with the male, or decide on a female .Otherwise she just needs to keep looking for her baby yorkie. Best wishes to the both of you.

| Okay first off, I want to say, I am sorry I did not realize this post would go to this length. I am looking for a little boy and Delores has offer me a female today. I honestly want a boy. Boys are so much loveable and like I said before Delores seemed very nice. I was so happy I was finally getting a Yorkie and that is all I wanted. I didn't say anything bad about you Delores just that I was upset because I was not going to get one. I am not the one that just up and buy the first yorkie I see, it took me awhile to get my husband to okay one, so I wanted to make the right decision. Yes I did say I wondered also about you re-selling him since he is so small. We all know people are out there for the money. Yea I am sorry for causing this thread, heck I just wanted some support not any bashing of a good breeder. Good breeders are hard to come by. Anyway I am in a hurry, but saw that Delores e-mailed me and she told me to read this thread..............Thanks guys glad to see that you all stick together, I was told last night that she was part of the YT and I am okay with this, with all of the information that is on here that must mean she is a great breeder......... Yeah there are also two sides to a story, but really think about it....I was told he was too small and that was it. I found more out from some of the stuff I read on this thread just a few seconds ago, not last week...just that he was too small and he was only 10ozs when he was 2 weeks old. Good thing is I believe it was explained better in the thread then too me via e-mail. SO maybe the communication was lacking on both parts when it came time to let me know what was going on. I didn't realize he was born until he was two weeks old remember Delores? So this does play a part in why I was upset, plus I asked you if he would be okay. Of course you said yeah he would catch up, so how do you think I felt when I received a e-mail saying you were not going to sell him to me? I was upset. Also Okay I understand about the picture, but then you put him on the site that does state Ready in September, maybe it meant the girl(s) but all I saw was all of them. Anyway I have to go, thanks guys and Delores is a nice breeder I just believe we lacked the good old communication skills when it comes through a keyboard. Something we all seem to do at times..... Have a Great Night, Julie |

| Julie, Is there a special reason why you don't want an adorable little girl ? It really sounds like the breeder is worried about the babies health.. Boys are sweet but girls are to ??? |

I told you he would be okay because at that age I thought he would. Julie, you ought to see him now. he is half the size of even less than the others. i know you didn't say anything bad and i am not upset at all about this thread. so no worries. Also Julie, understand that when i advertise instead of making a general statement "ready in September". I will place indivual pictures of eeach puppy and the price right under them, if I have any the waiting list doesn't take. Last edited by Sugar's Mom; 07-13-2008 at 03:58 PM.

At two weeks old, he weighed 5 ounces and has "almost' stopped. I will have to take some recent pictures of the gang and put them in the nursery here since so many of you have asked about Renny's babies.

I am one of the few that believes males make awesome pets if you get him neutered early. Nothing against females, actually I have thought about buying a female because I would get her beautiful dress up clothes, but then I decided nope, I can put my baby boy in a tux for christmas and other sweet looking clothes. I honestly do not want to settle for a female, males are so loving and more lap babies then females are. This is my opinion only. The yorkie I want has to be the perfect one and in great health and I understand now why Delores kept him. I do not understand the weigh a yorkie puppy has to be to be considered for a home. No I do not want a 3lb wonder dog, I want the AKC standard of a yorkie 4-7lbs by what I have researched.

| I'm so sorry. If you want to try again, there are some great breeders here on YT. I think I saw someone on here had one in Kentucky. Good Luck.

| Sorry, didn't read full thread. Girls AND boys are cute and cuddly. Just to warn you though, I have heard that boys are just a little bit harder to potty train. I don't know though. I would like a little boy furbaby someday. Welcome to YT by the way.
