| The laugh is on me. I did not like this guys face and thought that he did not have correct expression according to my interpretation of the standard. Laugh is on me and he is out to prove me wrong. His brother Buddy was placed in a pet home and he is every bit as nice as Buster. My handler who is also my friend (Peggy) made me sit down and take another look at him. Sure glad that she did. We have two shows this weekend and then a week off and then I think the week after he is entered in 4 shows thursday through Sunday. It will keep me busy watching m two boys- my 16 y/o old son has made the varsity football team at his school. He is almost 6 foot 4 inches and weighs 250 pounds may have something to do with it. He attends school in the second largest school district here in Indiana. He is quite proud that with all the competition that he made the squad asa sophomore. We are proud of him also. And then of course my four legged son Buster. We plan on taking Buster to UKC shows and working on a title with then and this fall or next spring working on his international title. That is the game plan we will keep our fingers crossed. WE also have to work in time to find a lady for him. He might be good looking but he is of no show value if he can not produce good puppies when bred to a couple of nice gals. |

Help me out- I have never had Buster's face called baby doll before. Who on the web site do you think has a baby doll face? I am still learning myself as to how different parts of the country look at the same dog and how we all see them different. Is this what you would call babydoll/trendy face in California? I live here in Indiana and we show in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan mainly and we would not call this Babydoll or a trendy face. I am going to have to do some more research on dogs in your area that are winning in the ring. I am going to go back on the website and look at the monsters again and see if I see anyone who I think looks like Buster in the face. My hubby gets mad at me cause I complain about nothing to show and-that I am too critical on the dogs and what I expect. Was it Pow that you thought had the same face? Pow is Buster's grandfather on his mother's (Gabby) side. Gabby has two week old babies 3 boys and 1 girl - I am anxious to see what they will be. I am excited about using him for stud- same old me though-I did not think he was the right match for any of my existing gals and was shopping for brides to be for him. Hubby said it is just an excuse to get more girls. Could be right-cause I have to have three gals to prove him with. With three gals I can feel more comfortable about the consistency in the quality of his puppies in a shorter time period. And I get three more kids to play with in the showring. I have to keep Peggy (his handler) in the style to which she has become used to living.

| Kathy, I think that he's adorable! I got to see him and I think that he's really nice. Are you showing in Ohio, I know that there's a show there either next week or the week after. You really sound like you've got your plans laid out and that's great, you need to explain to you hubby that you have to have the perfect girl with him, lol, that should get you a few more girls Good luck although I don't think he needs it, getting all these points in such a short time should tell you something about what the judges want...

Thank you for putting that picture up for me Feminvstr. You have been so helpul to me in helping me here and getting this website business going. It used to be all so simple- Take a few pictures with the camera develop them, make a copy of the pedigree and send it out in the mail. I am now fighting a digital camera, uploading and cropping pictures ( which usually as my 16 y/o son states look like "crap" ) loosing the pictures on the computer when I try to put them on the website. My daughter is switching to Pudue this fall - we keep talking that she should find her future hubby there a Vet student who majored in small animals with a liking for horses- maybe we should add knows about computers for me. I am so proud of Buster for this win- He was still a puppy 11 months old and the win was 20 miles from home and I got to be there to see him win.

What we have used for years is a cheap old shamppoo called mane n tail. and a unscented suave conditioner. I love it. It is very inexpensive and I can use it on all the kids. The only differance is how much conditioner I use and how long I leave it on each dog. It would drive me crazy to have different products for each one. The simpler the better, and takes up less space and leaves me with more money in my pocket book. I am pleased with how the coats look and grow.
