| ![]() I walk Itsy almost every day, and living in the city we encounter a lot of people on our walks. It doesn't help that she goes totally apesh** every time she spots another person and pulls towards them in excitement. She LOVES attention. But I'm not too crazy about EVERYONE touching her. People pet her all the time without asking, but I think they take her enthusiasm as an invite and think they don't need to ask MY permission since they obviously have hers ![]() It's funny because actually I have had far more children ask "can I pet her?" than adults. ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() Not only is it rude to take take your dog out of your arms, you have to watch out for someone who might run off with your dog. There was an article in the paper that said don't let anyone hold your dog especially a small breed because thats what people like and they could run off with them. nancy & sam |

| ![]() its sooooooooooooooooo funny ... the first day this was posted I looked and read everyone who had replied to this thread and then later that day I went to a neighborhood party and there was this little girl that asked if she could hold Gracie... I didnt know who this girl was and so I took someones advice and said that she wiggles too much and i didnt want her to fall out of her arms... she looked at me like I had spoken in a diff. language... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() I hardly take out princess cuz of this... its annoying now.. i even try not to dress her so she doesnt stand out.. right when i see someone go "AWW LOOK" i turn and walk away..cuz princess freaks out when someone grabs her right away (a behavior i dont want trained out of her) and growls and will snap.. and if they ask if they can pet her i say "no sorry she bites".. thats why i like going to certain places like vancouver.. they are not into dogs and no one says a thing when i hold princess around.. they just look at me like im ridiculous but whatever ![]() |
