| I do believe in ESP. My mother grew up in St. Louis, MO, and when she and my father were first married, she worked at a shoe factory. One day, my father was going to meet my mother where she worked and they were going to go to lunch together. Just before lunch time, my mother was sitting at her machine working and she heard my father say her name, very plainly and quite loud. She stopped and turned around, expecting to see him standing there. He wasn't there! Later, when he did arrive, she told him about it. He looked pale and said he had been walking along the street, his mind on my mother and their lunch together, and he stepped off the curb right into the path of an oncoming truck. He said he scrambled back out of the way and said her name out loud, very loud. He was blocks away, but she heard him say her name. One of my favorite ESP stories since I knew the people involved. |

| Roscoe has woken us up a couple of times just barking in the middle of the night and sitting straight up.......then we realized he was stairing in the mirror so he was getting confused at seeing another dog in the mirror. |

| My two yorkies (expecially my older female) will frequently chase "something" down the hall and then come trotting back very proud of herself.... No one else is in the house, and there are no other animals in the house... I thought it might be mouse at first, but I have seen no evidence of one in the house..... Whatever lives with us is not bad and sometimes I think it is past pets come back in "visitation." roxanne

| I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Ahhh, I remember the last thread about this that was posted, what, a year or 2 ago? I can't remember when it was but I do remember it! My Stedman does this too (Tatum rarely EVER barks, but she sometimes will if she sees him doing it - only if he's going REALLY crazy with the barking though) but it IS indeed very freaky! I don't know what the heck he hears, or what he sees, but whenever he does it I don't see or hear ANYTHING...so it is very odd Who knows what these babies of ours can see and hear....obviously something we can't

| Two of my experiences: My father died in the hospital on his birthday, August 9, 1985. It was late at night and I was very upset, but still had to drive 35 miles home. I got into my car and started it up, by that time sobbing. All of a sudden, all I could smell was Old Spice, the aftershave my father always wore. I knew he was "sitting" in the passenger seat of my 2-seater sportscar. I gained my composure and drove home, comforted by his presence. When I parked the car in my driveway and turned off the ignition, the Old Spice scent vanished. I knew he was gone and has never visited again. In 1988, I took my extremely aggressive Chinese Shar-Pei to the Vet to be neutered, at 8:30 on a Friday morning. At 11:50 a.m., I saw him "sitting" in the hallway, with his head caulked sideways, just looking at me. I said his name Jin Ju and then realized, hey wait a minute, you're at the Vet! The phone rang and when I answered it, it was the Vet calling to say my dog was dead. Jin Ju had come to say goodbye.

| Strong possibility that your pug is visiting you in your sleep as your mind would be more open to accept the visit. Yes, I am very sensitive to things like this.

| I totally believe in ghosts, my first one i saw was right after my gma died (I was in 1st grade), my room was next to my gpas and when i woke up one night, out of nowhere, i saw a head poke out of his room (the door was closed) and the head floated down the hall, i wasnt scared or anything but i remember it very clearly and my mom remembers me coming downstairs to her bed and telling her about it n sleeping with her that night. My dog has never acted like that, thank God, but I do know they exist! |

| Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Last night some very strange things happened! I'm more convinced than ever about my ghostie. I just wish I knew more about it, so maybe it wouldn't freak me out so much. I was in here on the computer...it was late...12:30-1 am I guess. It was totally quiet, and suddenly I heard a loud bang noise - like something had fallen. I checked all over the room - nothing out of place. I was officially creeped, so I went into my room. I turned on the TV, the light was out. I turned to walk toward my bed, and I happened to glance at the mirror, and I saw something...white...just a glimpse of something white go past my mirror and out the door. I FREAKED out and ran to and closed my door. I laid down on my bed with the light on dim, and I looked up at the ceiling, and there was this vertical streak of this white/blue light, and it disappeared in a second. It was SO SCARY and I could hardly sleep.
