ok the creepiness is here again

I don't know about "spirits" or anything like that, but whenmy Dad passed recently, we stayed in Hospice care with him. Cordell, who NEVER would sleep anywhere but beside me or on me, laid down next to my Dad and wouldn't move. Not even when I would get up. For the last two days of my Dads life, that precious little dog of mine comforted my Dad (or I like to think so) with his presence.
Dad was always an animal lover. Always.
As soon as Dad passed, Cordy knew it, and went to my husband, who picked him up.
They do sense things, so much more than people do.

I don't know if I shared this on here or not, so if I did sorry for a repost, but one time I was hanging out with a friend at another friends house, the owner of the house wasn't home. My friend confided in me that he wanted me to be there with him because he thought the house was haunted, and he went on to tell me how he's heard people walking around upstairs when no one was upstairs. As he was telling me he was sitting like 2ft from me, and he goes "Did you just feel that" I responded "No, what?" and as soon as I finished my words, I felt a breeze and got goosebumps! It was really creepy, and i totally understood why he didn't want to be there alone!

Sometimes Sophie has episodes where she barks at nothing at all, even growls and shakes. It's happened about twice. Anyway if you really want to know if something's there ask it questions and get evp with a tape recorder, if you're brave enough lol i certainly am not. If you don't want it there tell it to leave

My husband died July 1st 2000. He was only 43 yrs old. He had a massive heart attack, totally out of the blue, no prior warning. I found him just minutes after it happened. We had been married for 20 yrs, high school sweethearts.

At the time of his death, we had two Schnauzers. My "Leipshen" (now 12 yrs old) was given to me by my husband on Valentines Day. She was a precious puppy and although she has always been "my dog" she loved my husband dearly. They had a daily ritual between them that went on from the time he gave her to me until he died...and I believe for three days after he died.

Every evening when my husband would get home from work, he would come in the front door very quitely, trying to see if he could make it into the house without "Leipshen" hearing him. He pulled it off only a couple of times when she was a puppy. The minute she would hear him, she would run like crazy , make this little excited yippy sound , wagging her little tail vigorously and lifting both front paws up and down , up and down. She would then turn and look at me, run to me , then run back to him. As if to say "Look mommy, daddy is home!" He would laugh and pick her (when she was a puppy) , later he would bend over to her giving her lots of love. she looked forward to this every day.

The day after he died, I was in the bedroom, sitting on the edge of the bed , just staring straight ahead. ( I was completely lost and devistated). Leipshen was laying next to me on the bed. It was very quite in the house. all of a sudden..."Leipshen" whipped her head around to the bedroom door...she jumped up and flew off the bed...she stopped about four feet from the door, looking up, doing her little loving yip, wagging her tail so vigorously ...jumping up down, up down, EXACTLY the same welcome home that she had given him every day for years. She ran to me, jumped on the bed, yipping and whining , she then flew off the bed, stopping four feet within the room. She suddenly quited down, looking up, still wagging her tail, just like she would do when he would bend over and give her pets and loves.

I spoke to "Leipshen"...."Leipshen"..."is daddy here"? , she remained where she was, all happy. I said out loud, looking at where "Leipshen" was..."Jimmy"? "Are you here"? "Leipshen" turned and jumped back onto the bed, laying down and looking straight ahead. I just sat and cryed.

This happened for two more days. Always in the house, always in the bedroom (where I spent long hours). I don't remember telling anyone about it, or feeling much of anything except extremely sad.

It has been almost 8 yrs since Jimmy died. I still have my beloved "Leipshen", she is 12 yrs old and now totally blind. she is fine though and she is so good at navigating her way around that one can hardly tell that she is blind. i also have my beloved Yorkies, whom "Leipshen" loves to pieces and vice versa! My children and I have healed ( By the Grace of God). I never re-married, my kids are grown, and it is just me and my precious dogs. There have been incidents, at night , where both Yorkies will wake up and look at the bedroom door (different house). They will wag their tails and bark or whimper, (just for a couple moments). This wakes me up and I just lay quitely and smile, petting "Leipshen", who is snoring lightly beside me.

It is because of my devotion to God , and my uncertainty about anything paranormal , that has caused me to never share this story. It feels good to be able to share it with my friends here!

OMG! I am so sorry for your loss! Your story made me cry! I feel the Love! Thank you for sharing!

ok abby just woke me up cuz she was barking outta control. I have never heard her bark this loud n long!!!! Thank god my b/f sleepin over cuz I'd b a wreck right now. I personally think he's freaked too cuz he usually walks w abby to the kitchen to assure her nothing is there but this time he only opened the door n stayed there. When my mother was dying, she saw my father, who had passed away 30 years earlier. She talked to him and said she was ready to go with him "right now." He apparently answered her because she said "all right, you know I've always been impatient." She died just a few minutes later. She was very peaceful and I believe my father was there to take her hand and walk with her into eternity. They were both very strong Christians and I believe they walked right into Heaven together. I expect both of them will be there when my time comes to cross over.

Oh how wonderful! It makes their passing so much easier to take when something like that happens. My father looked in the cornor and said, Do you see that? to which I replied what Dad? Don't you see her, he said, he then went into a coma and died a few minutes later. I wish I knew for certain what he saw, but I felt better about it anyway.

I have a lot of experiences with the spiritual side..Always have. My intuition grows stronger the older I get. It runs in our family. I believe this is why I have a strong connection to animals..I can almost feel their thoughts..anyway they do sense things around us. My pug died 2 yrs ago. A couple of days after his death, I heard him scratching our back door..to let him in..like he always used to. My son has heard him walking down our hallway..and I have photos of a huge orb near our couch where he used to sit..the orb has shown up in different photos during different occasions but the same spot..

I just remembered this dream I had a few days ago about the ghost that I suspect is haunting my house, and in the dream I found this newspaper article about their death, and the date was 6-8-23 or something. But 6-8! that's today! I can't wait for today to be over haha.
