Mugzy NEVER wears a collar. I am so afraid of trachea problems. He has several harnesses that we use for outside. I found a very cute "vest" that has been sewed around the neck and it velcros under his chest. The clip for his leash is then on his back. However, he has gotten tubby now that he has hit the ripe old age of 17 months and it doesn't fit anymore

OH! and my two big dogs (shepard mix, malamute mix) had collars on and were wrestling in the backyard when all of a sudden I heard this SCREAMING and it was the dogs, they had gotten caught in each other's collar and were freaking out, blood, etc. So now no collars for anyone!

Slade never had a collar on, unless we are out of our house/yard. He is in his crate during the day and I always worry about him choking himself.

All the others wear collars indoors though.
