| Abby will be 10 weeks old tomorrow and weighs 1 lb 14 oz. I can't relax unless she's in her crate or I'm holding her. I'm scared to pieces that I'll lose her in some crack in the floor I'm guessing she'll be 4 to 4.5 lbs full grown. I'm looking forward to that, while trying to enjoy this stage as well. My boy Peanut was 4.5 lbs when he came to live with us and 5 lbs when he passed. He was the perfect size in my opinion. Really, who wants a dog that you're afraid you'll break?

| My little Billie Jean is a little over 5 months old and weighs only 1.6lbs. I can't imagine anyone purposely looking for a dog that small. I thought Billie would get a bit bigger when I got her & I knew that I would probably have to do alot for her medically since she is so small. I saw Billie though and just fell in love with her & since my hubs is always away in the military, I knew I could give her the attention she deserves. Having a tiny tiny dog is a Lot of work though. It pretty much almost equals to having a newborn baby/toddler. Grrrr dogs are not fashion accessories. |

| I actually wanted a bigger yorkie when I was looking. Her mom is about 8 lbs and her dad about 7 lbs. (Both of her parents too were the sweetest yorkies I ever met! Both mom and dad were on my lap licking my face and wagging their tails when the breeder let me see them! ) I remember I was reading someones blog about their yorkie. She was going on about the dog not going to be much bigger than a can of dog food or something. In the comments section someone posted a hamster comment LOL Heres the link: Is it crazy to dress up and really spoil pets?
