| Hair Clippers I'm in the market for a new hair clipper. I would like one that is corded, quiet and doesn't get too hot. This is for a full haircut, not just trims. I just don't know brands or models. Any info you can give would help me greatly.

| If you plan on doing full haircuts, you need a full size high quality clipper, not the inexpensive clipper kits. I have had my Oster A5 two speed for years. I would highly recommend it. It comes with a #10 blade which I rarely use. If you plan on using the clip on combs, you'll also need a #40 blade. I also have a 4F and 3F blade for a short summer puppy cut. The 3F is a nice length, about 1/2". |

| I've done home cuts on my 5 year old for 3 years now. The trimmer I used to use, used AAA batteries, it became way too expensive. So I bought a trimmer from Walmart, It's rechargeable and it works great, it just doesn't hold the charge long enough to do the whole dog. Part 1 one night, Part 2 second night. Now with the addition of my 11week old, and my mom bought his sister, I have 3 to groom. In the winter, I don't cut them. I do try to cut them in the spring/summer time around 1-2 times. And we love the puppy cut, he looks sooo cute. I was looking online and saw the Oster, Wahl and Andis. From reviews from Amazon, I'm leaning towards the Oster golden a5 2speed. It's a little pricey though.

It is definitely an investment by the time you get extra combs and blades, but well worth it in the long run. I believe Pet Edge still has them for about $130. I've had mine for about eight years and would buy them again in a heartbeat. | |

| Whal Peanuts are Really one of the worst Clippers on the market. They are Very Loud. They also tend to have bad on of Switches and the switch board will melt and they will be suck in the on position. Andies Makes Great Clippers and also The Other Whal's are not to bad. |

| Oster golden A-5 twp speed!!!!!!!! I have had one for 20 years and it still is running great. I also have a newer one about 3 years old. They run about $120.00 and come with a #10 blade. I got mine from Ryans Grooming Supply. |
