If you plan on doing full haircuts, you need a full size high quality clipper, not the inexpensive clipper kits. I have had my Oster A5 two speed for years. I would highly recommend it. It comes with a #10 blade which I rarely use. If you plan on using the clip on combs, you'll also need a #40 blade. I also have a 4F and 3F blade for a short summer puppy cut. The 3F is a nice length, about 1/2".
