Melinda is the owner but I bet she uses the term "rescue" to get free dogs to breed and then find them homes, when crap like that happens. just my opion but that's what she appears to be doing.

You know after finally getting what is going on...It didn't dawn on me 100% until Villette spoek about the rescue woman and you said thatw as the homeowner..I think that is exactly what she is doing...she may even be breeding sick dogs to just get the puppies and SELL!!!!

I know !! I was confused (sorry - I had moved my post to the other thread) ...but I had thought Melinda was only the rescue NOT the owner - WOW - She didn't do a very good job I'd say if this mom was like this for the last 5 WEEKS - The GOOD thing is - that baby should be getting some WELL DESERVED and needed attention !

OH MY!!! YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE CRAZY EVEN AS LIKE THE MOST LOW BROW BREEDER IN THE WORLD TO USE RESCUE DOGS TO BREED!!! We need to call that vet who was referring rescues to her and let him know, l will do that within the hour if someone has not done so already. We should also let a reputable rescue like United Yorkie Rescue know, I am on top of that too. How cruel can you be to do something like this...

On a more positive note...I am so glad Bruce and I have found this forum, it helps restore what little faith we have left in humanity!

I can't believe how I missed this today. I just came on and saw this thread, it's just sickening, that someone would let her develope to this level of health

. I was ready to get in my car and start driving, and I live in Michigan! I hope that this poor little angel will get the treatment she needs, she probably just has a skin condition that with the right treatment will be fine. Sounds to me that this lady just wanted puppies, and I wouldn't be surprised if the didn't deliver themselves. I hope those little puppies will be fine, which I'm sure she'll probably be letting them go in a week!...

I LOVE being a part of this forum!! Situations like this make me realize exactly how special a group of people everyone on here is and I am proud to know all of you. I just got on and read this thread and I too am appalled and am praying that this little baby will be OK. I am also concerned about her pup. But I am also beaming with pride, as a member of this forum, in knowing that there are Angels on here that I and others can turn to if ever we need to. Thanks for making YT the best forum on the Web due to its members!!

I agree i will be praying for that little girl and i wish i would have signed on sooner you guys (gals) are a wonderful group of people and i also wanted to let you know that I'm a member of the United Yorkie Rescue so if this ever happens again (i pray not) please email me or pm me i will get it right away and i will contact my regional coordinator to help
