That is what I was thinking also -- I dont think a vet would just "tape" up a dog that just gave birth...Something doesnt sound right..

In any event, I hope she gets medical attention ASAP!

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help...

I don't know, but I have never heard of a vet not sewing a dog up and putting tape on her. when I call back in about 30 minutes I will ask for the womans number that got her. I doudt she will give it to me but I will ask.

What kind of sick person let's their baby have babies when she is too tiny anyways and then gets rid of her??...I don't care if I was homeless and had no money...I would find a way to make sure Maximus was okay even if it meant not eating for a month!! This is irresponsible and heartless and cruel..they got what they wanted from the mom yorkie..babies to SELL!!!

OH my gosh, this is so sad. It makes me sick to think of the horrible condition this baby much be in. Oh I hope something can be done to help her!

not only that, but the mom has some kind of skin problem that she probably just passed on to her puppy. which is only 5 weeks old, she said.

This yorkie has been taped and bleeding for 5 WEEKS!!!!

Me too - I actually almost got sick reading this and thinking about that poor baby...I HAD to go smoke to stop my hands from shaking - People are SO ignorant sometimes and how on earth can they watch a living creature suffer like this....from her skin condition to THIS awful tragedy - how heartless they are !!

At least they didn't dump her - I guess that's a plus....poor poor baby -

I'm sure that the woman who took her feels like she is resuing the dog, just like anyone of us would. I can't say this for sure, but the lady IS probably getting her the medical attention she needs and was doing the right thing by calling and taking in this pup.

Please keep us updated, though. I hope that little pup is ok, poor thing!

she said it started to heal and tore open a little and that she has been draining. I'm going to call her back and beg for the ladies number and tell her that if she gives it to me and we will help her with paying some of the vet bills. Maybe then she will give it to me.

camarolynn73 - you are the HERO today on yorkietalk - I want to say thank you for caring and for posting and for helping - no matter what - that little girl got as much help as you could offer - You should feel VERY GOOD about what you're trying to do - This could have a very good ending if they do what they say they're going to do - and to me - You're A HERO !
