| Agree with everyone else and want to agree with Mike on the trick training. On a rainy, boring day... nothing beats wearing Jackson out mentally than a few trick training sessions! We do at LEAST 10 minutes per night but usually it's more. He loves it (we use clicker training) and it's mentally draining to do it. We also do the chase and hide/seek type games as well.

| We only have a very small yard, too. Pepper likes to play 'fetch the ball' along the side of the house. When it is raining, we play the same indoors in the living room, but then with a cat's tunnel. This makes it more interesting for him, since our room is rather small. Pepper runs through, around, under, behind... the tunnel, and has 'a ball'! And I enjoy this game, too. I practise my accuracy in throwing the ball around or over Pepper (who is usually dancing right in front of me), aiming at the 2 holes cut in the side of the tunnel. |

| Lazer light! I also teach my dogs tricks not to have them perform (okay that's fun too) so they are mentally stimulated via learning... started with the usual sit stay roll over and obedience and turned into dance, walk, wake up the kid with kisses, getting them to identify their toys and bring me various ones, holding a toy and having them find it...fun for the kids and myself. Agility basics too, up over under...

| as i've said a million times, and yes it is still true, princess loves to play fetch! i usually don't mind, but sometimes she asks me at the most inappropriate times! lol. i also chase her and make these "scary" sounds, we both get exercise doing this! she gets so worked up she'll try to grab anything she can to start running with: a big boot, a rug, full sized blanket, shoe, sock, wii remote. it's so funny. i just recently got her a laser pointer and she LOVES that thing! i've never seen a dogs tail wag sooooo fast!! she's obsessed with any kind of playing and will "ask" me to play with her alllll day long! i oblige, as i love this lil baby soooo much!!

| Heidi's favorite game is to practice her tricks. She LOVES it, and often in the evening she'll come to me and "ask" me to do her tricks, or offer one looking at me expectantly. Its funny how you can tell what they are wanting. She does the clicker training. She enjoys Hide n Go Seek a lot too. Its funny to peak and see her walking around looking for me and she acts so proud when she finds me.

| Carmel- His favorite game is tuggle-war. He also likes to chase your feet and try to bite it If you shuffle your hands in front of him, he will also like to try and bite it. Emma- ONE THING- SQUEAKY toys that mommy makes for her. SHE LOVES THEM. She loves to fetch it (to a point that drives you crazy!). Every time I make a new toy, she will stare and wait for you to finish. Then, she goes crazy over it It's SO cute. She often have staring contest with her toys. She wants you to throw it so much that she will start shaking and whining. Together- Emma will entice Carmel to play. She will jump around in her play position. She will also bit Carmel's neck to try and get him to play with her. I love it! I adore them SO MUCH!

| Tibbe loves hide and seek but he goes and hides his chewbone in the living room for me to come find it. He loves all kinds of tugoway, fetch, seek, playing with toys but his favorite thing to do with me is train. He does lots of tricks and loves to do those over and over and over. By the end of a training session with so much jumping and rolling over repeatedly, etc., he's pretty tired. Plus, I throw a treat across the floor, he runs after it, finds it and returns for another. Over and over. That tires him out, too if enough repetitions. He's practically indefatigable though.

| So many people here listed fetch and this came to mind, I should say I'd honestly be a little concerned over safety with a dog being unsupervised with this, but I'm sure some safety measures could be taken...this guy built this himself and doesn't seem to sell them that I can find...this is just such a kewl idea to me though for the never ending game of fetch, my arm gets tired after awhile with three here. Self entertainment at it's best and obviously a little training to get Jerry or any dog to do this themselves.

| Sometimes I take a papertowel tube and cut it in half. (Toilet paper tube would do.) I stuff a rubber ball in one end, put in a treat and then block the other end with a small stuffed toy. Copper loves to get the treat out. If the paper tube gets torn up in the process, that is part of the fun.
