Agree with everyone else and want to agree with Mike on the trick training. On a rainy, boring day... nothing beats wearing Jackson out mentally than a few trick training sessions! We do at LEAST 10 minutes per night but usually it's more. He loves it (we use clicker training) and it's mentally draining to do it.
We also do the chase and hide/seek type games as well.
