yes, accidents happen every day. You can never be too careful. Heck, my VET even dropped one from a previous litter. he was transferring them to a box for me to take them home in. newborn babies. This man is over six feet tall. he dropped the baby from chest high and his assistant broke it's fall with her foot. We never did know which pup it was. They were all fine. he was so embarrassed he didn't know what to say or do. I was furious but I tried to make light of it and make him feel better. I mean, how can you stay mad at someone like that who comes any time day or night you call him and I call him a lot. I was thinking if it was Sam, maybe he had a fatal disease or something that I needed to know right away as a breeder so i could fix it and give Mary's money back. I knew he was checked two days before he left me and then Mary's vet gave him a wonderful rep[ort so i couldn't imagine what it could be but i had a gut feeling it was an accident. It sounded like he was bad off and I was so afraid he was going to die. That is the puppy I wanted to keep to show but his ears got just a little too big. he has more gold on him than the one I actually kept to show.

you are a saint for caring for this child. Did you know I have two disabled children? My older son is severely retarded. All he can do is walk and feed himself finger foods when they are put in one of his hands. My younger son (31)is adopted and is learning disabled. i knew it when we adopted him. he is the one that I worry about. he knows just enough to get into things he shouldn't.

No, I didn't know this...I actually did home health care for a man(he was 89) from last January through April..they gave him 3 mos. to live..he was out mowing one day, and the next day he couldn't even stand up..anyway, can't remember what exactly was wrong with him..but, he was in a wheelchair, then when I started he was using a walker more, by the time I was done with the job(hospice was also coming in once a week), he was riding his stationary bike, and had gone from a walker to a cane and then to walking on his own..I loved this man as if he were a father to me..by the time I got done with him, he was in better shape than I was..Unfortunately, i will never be able to help this child as I helped the man(whom just celebrated his 90th b-day last May)..this little boy was under water for 10 minutes, and has no use of his fingers or his legs..but, he can smile and laugh, and seeing him do that brings a smile to my face...I'm just not sure how long I will be able to take care of him, as lifting 80 some pounds I'm sure is going to start getting the best of my back..

It takes very special people to care for a person with disabilities and I just want to thank you, even though you dont work for me but its very comforting to know that there are still people like you who truly love what they do and feel rewarded by the smile you put on that persons face

Default Awesome Update!!!

Ok now this to me is a amazingly BIG update! Ok Sam just climbed out of his bed and took off walking he walked through the kitchen i would say about at least 10 feet of walking just to go over to the food bowl and he stood there pigging out acting as if he was starving (it was canidae canned food mixed with canidae kibble he had been eating science diet a/d it's what the vet gave him) i didn't think he was ever going to stop eating when he finally did he walked back over by his bed to where i had the water bowl sitting for him and he drank again like a fish and then he climbed into the bed and went back to sleep well then Max comes over to him and barks at him like he is trying to say come on lets play well i guess Sam didn't like it because he growled at Max and sent Max running lol. I know he is getting better for sure now because he is getting his little attitude back

Just so everyone knows i walked with him the whole way i never touched him but i did have my hands down just in case he wobbled
