Because(I would imagine she's your oldest)?? And, I've been there..I look back at how we treated our daughter when she was in H.S and had a 10:00 bed time..she acted out later on because of it..you learn from your mistakes...Don't make the mistakes I made..learn from them... Now, go give that Sam and Max some big old kisses from ginger...

Yes my daughter broke a rule and she should be punished for that but i do not believe she should be punished for a accident so i am sorry but grounding is all she will get not allot more than grounding like others have suggested i did agree in the beginning that she deserved more but i was very upset and have since had time to think about it so no i will not let anyone get a hold of my daughter so they can do alot more than ground her I am very upset over this being said to me because she is my daughter and i am her mother and i am going to protect her from people wanting to do her harm and to be honest i am shocked at anyone telling a mother let me get a hold of her and i will do alot more than ground her from things. I have and always will fight for my skin-kids and my fur-kids and i am sorry if you do not like that. But when someone threatens one of my kids they have crossed the line with me.

Oh wow what was somebody thinking when they said that to you. That is just very mean to say. I am sorry you have had to go through all of this. It was just an accident and it could have been anyone it just happened to be your daughter. Its not like she threw him or something

As far as your oldest daughter, she has a child, therefore, she is an adult...I really don't think you should have a problem with her holding Sam...maybe she grabbed him because she felt as though she was being treated as a child..you have to remember, she is an adult.. it wasn't one of the little ones that was holding her, it was an older one..I think you've beat yourself up over this long enough..Now quit doing it to yourself..He's going to be fine, and you owe NO ONE an explanation!!

if you are directing this at me, yes, it became Mary's baby the day she paid for it but she is under contract to see that he is taken care of. FYI, I do believe Sam is being well taken care of and this was an accident and I have told Mary over and over that I do not blame her . yes, I was upset because of the way I finally found out in the afternoon but I also posted on here that Mary had tried to call and left a message because i had a doctor's appointment. another YT member called me at the doctors office and read the post to me. for all I knew it was some sort of fatal disease or something that i needed to know about. so what are you trying to get started? mary and I are both suffering enough without people trying to stir things up when they don't have a clue. mary doesn't need to be bashed. i don't need to be bashed. This thread is about Sam and Sam only so why don't you just sstop now with your incinuations before the thread turns nasty and Sam's thread gets closed.. it's all about Sam, that precious little baby.

I said it and I was laughing when I said and Mary knows that. And that is not even exactly what I said. i said, you tell your daughter if it was me , she would be more than grounded. i certainly wouldn't harm th child and i was laughimg when i said it. i was hoping for thiss threadd not to turn ugly but it has and it will get worse. I am out of here. oh, it was not even on the board. mary and I were talking on the phone. She knew i wass just using a figure of speech. i don't know if anyone else hass ssaid anything or not.

yes Mary is hurting..but, you said in another post you most likely will never sell to anyone with young kids again, this wasn't a young kid, this was an adult..I feel bad for Mary, but, I know that Sam is in a fantastic home, and that's all that matters...nothing is getting ugly on here!

i think I said 'kids" period and instantly realized it would hurt Mary so I edited it but you saw fit to send her the link so you could make sure she was hurt worse that she already was. And as i already told Mary i was already rethinking my program. i am selling local only from now on and to retired families. I had already told several people my plan long before Sam was even born. it just will be better for me. I am so tired of all the shipping and flying babies everywhere and all that goes with it.

yes, Mary and I decided yesterday that we are both too irrational right now to even think straight. i know mary is good to Sam and adores him. As far as i know, Mary and I are okay.

This was an un-forseen unfortunate accident and I myself can say even adults can accidently drop one of our furbabies. I had to go thru the loss of Holly one of my puppies from this last litter because I was ill and had to rely on an adult 50 year old friend to come help me with my babies while I was sick, and she accidently dropped little Holly and we lost her. Please don't use this thread as an attack on anyone. Accidents can happen to anyone! Lets just use this as a reminder to be more careful with our furkids.

As for Mary and Dee I am so sorry for little Sam and I hope he has a full recovery and a happy life!!

Getting back to the original intent of this thread I would love to hear how little Sam has progressed today. Mary updated us earlier and I am hoping for more updates telling us how great he is doing.

OH WOW that is what ours bedtime it and yep she is the oldest maybe that is why our 16 year old is so different because we learned from her older sister what not to do with her

Yeah i know the thing was it didn't even really hit me at first it was after sleeping on it that i woke up and realized hey I DON'T THINK SO! And god no she never would knowingly hurt a baby never.

I never said on here that you are the one that said this but since you have now posted it that you were. I am sorry i have to disagree i did not hear you laughing when you said it and i honestly did not take it as a figure of speach not after sleeping on it and giving it much thought so that i wouldn't just blow it out of porportion. I also do not recall hearing tell your daughter if it was me what i recall hearing send her to me that she would get alot more than just grounding from things i am sorry but it really upset me hearing that and it stuck in my head all day and all night. You might have been just joking in your own way but i took it as serious and it really bothered me badly. I am not going to let it bother me anymore i have put it all behind me and i am now concentrating on Sam 100%
