| Not a problem if you are willing to come to Tx and pick them up and don't mind her or him being spayed or neutered I don't ship ![]() In all honesty I hope it would never come to that! Like I said I prefer the showing aspect of the yorkie breed than the breeding! ![]() Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |

, I don't doubt that most breeders have the best interest of the dogs at heart, take very good care of them and work hard to put them in a good home. It does show me that this is a business and these dogs are not truely part of their families. Again, not judging because we need good breeders. Without you all we wouldn't have our babies. Thank you for answering my questions

![]() Being a show breeder/exhibitor isn't for everyone. I just love showing but I can't afford to go out and buy a show dog everytime I finish one so I have to breed some to get my next show dog but I can tell you this...I love all my babies!!! Not one is not without love and affection!! They all run my house!

| I do not have a problem with show breeders that rehome retired studs and bitches. They do make sure they have very good homes and they are treated like kings and queens which they rightfully deserve. They make sure they are spayed or neuterd and most of them give them away. A breeder could not keep all of them they would have housefuls, what would the hubbys think of that, they would be overrun.I think breeders have some they get more attached to and would have to keep and some they could rehome .How else can some of these breed for 30 plus years? |

I do hope it never comes to that either but when you show a dog you do form a bond with that animal and I am in love with every one of my dogs and when I do get another one I will be totally in love with that one too. You see showing not only is for the person but for the dog. When you have that special one that loves the show ring you develop a bond with them. I'm not saying it's easy for any breeder to part with that show dog but again realistically it's in the dog's best interest not that we aren't in love with them as you are it's just that we can't keep everything that we show and breed...like you said I haven't been faced with that choice yet and I hope I never have too but being realistic I don't see anyway around it if I want to continue with breeding my next show dog. Like I stated in another post of mine I'd rather show than breed anyway! The stress kills me and gives me more grey hairs!

| Myfairlacy appears to be a very level headed girl in seeing her posts. I'm surprised at her age and very impressed. One could certainly learn many things from her. |

I think there is always something to be learned from everyone, no matter their age
