| My neighbors are driving me CRAZY These are the same neighbors that had the horrible dogsitter. The poor German shepard, Cody, is an outside dog. I disagree with having a dog outside 24/7 but I try not to judge, then.... I get these neighbors. They NEVER take him inside. Even at night when its really cold out. They were happy I made him a leanto when the dogsitter was negilent cause he can use it as a house now. I was horrified when he was out there and I thouhgt it was an accident but now I dont even have words for how I feel. They never play with him and he has nothing to do. So hes digging over to my house. Hes dug under the fence and under the additional 8 inch of rabbit fencing that is staked to the ground. I cant let my babies out since hes there barking hysterically all day and I found out they feed him once a day and leave water in a kiddy pool for him to drink. A stagent(sp) pool that from the looks they dont clean. I dont know if my anger toward them or my pity for Cody is stronger. Id love to call anmial control but I dont know if I can do it annomously and if what they are doing is enough against the rules for them to be made to fix it. If I turn them in and no one makes them fix it AND they know I did it I be in living **** for the next 2 years. In my dream world I meet someone who wants him and they take him off to a loving home. I guess Im just venting since there is nothing that I knoiw of that can be done. Thanks for listening guys. |

| I think you should call them, at least you will know that you did all you can do to try and give this poor boy a better home. It breaks my heart to see outside animals!!! |

| Do you live in a neighborhood where other neighbors are right around you? Maybe you can start off calling the police and reporting a noise violation if the dog is barking too much. I know here noise violations get taken care of pretty quickly as its a college town with lots of loud parties.

| He digs under your fence some day and "runs" away (you find him a new home)... If it was me, I'd probably beg the neighbors to let me have him...

| Definetly call the police about noise...and also find out if you can take him from them?? They might be ready to get rid of him but unsure of how to find him a new home...maybe you can find him a great forever home where he will be appreciated!! Good luck!! Dawn |

| I believe animal control will let you be anonymous. Besides, if the dog is outdoors in plain sight, it could be any one of the neighbors who called -- they don't have to know it's you. I'd call animal control and ask if you can call in a complaint anonymously. They can then at least drive by the house, see the situation and take it from there.

| Here in the UK we can report cases such as this annonomusly. A couple of months ago my sisters neighbours got themselves a labradour puppy. It was left in the garden 24/7 without even a kennel, so was open to all elements. The owners went out first thing in the morning and didnt return until around 7pm each night. After one day of non-stop rain and the puppy outside howling my sister reported it. We did attempt to try and get to the puppy to bring it in but without any success as we aint as young as we once were and able to climb over the fence lol. We noticed the RSPCA made checks and the puppy was then taken inside. However, the owners just kept the poor thing locked in an empty bedroom as it cried all the time. A couple of weeks later, we noticed that the puppy is no longer there. If I was you I would for sure be ringing to report it. Good Luck x

| You can call anonymously to Animal Control to complain or you could also try sending an anonymous letter if you don't want to call (to them and/or to Animal Control). Here in Jacksonville I've filed a complaint against my neighbors dogs for digging under my fence and had to get it notarized for his case file. I guess it takes three notarized statements for Animal Control to take my neighbor into court for not caring/controlling his dogs. Are they renters where you could contact the landlord and advise him of the situation? Maybe send some anonymous dog care information to these people so they know how to treat an animal. Do you have somewhere safe to take him if he digs into your yard again -- Cody deserves a loving home. Good luck.

| Here in Ft. Hood nothing is annonymous, I even try to call Child protective services because my neighbors house is so nasty and her kids are never fed, or clean, she is not even home when they get home from school and they are all under 11 ..........You know what the mp's told me?? That maybe I should be a better neighbor and help them out?? First off I have my own life, Thank You and second when a person chooses to be a parent IMO it's their responsiblility to care for their kids.........NOT MINE ......................well this is an example of our mp's on post .... One more thing they told me is, that that would damage a soldier's career...............That's what they really care about.......So I doubt that they will do anything.........unless he is out and about, as long as they feed him and there is water. What a sad situation........Guess what? One time I even reported a neighbor because her daughter was climbing out of a 2 story window, for the 5th time, a 4 year old, and you know what they did?? NOTHING I even had pics, and he said with his own eyes Sorry to go own, and that there is people like that living on post

| I am pretty sure you can call the SPCA anonomously, but if you call the police they will most likely knock on your door and ask you some questions.

| the SPCA here will come out and check things. I called because my neighbor has about 20 beagles. They live out of an 18 wheel trailor and the ones that are having puppies are living in rabbit hutches. I told them who I was but that I had to remain annonomous because I do live next door. They came out and told him to clean up and that was it! But my point is I gues is that they did come out.
