| ![]() Looks like she veiws this as her occupation. she seems to keep everything clean and looking nice but obviously the puppies and parents are not getting the attention that lets say a puppy whos breeder just has one or 2 litters at a time. this is her JOB...her means of income. It is sad that they dont get the attention that they should but im sure all breeders, whether small or big, breed for money.

| ![]() My opinion! NO ONE SHOULD BE MAKING THEIR LIVING BY SELLING DOGS OR CATS OR PETS OF ANY KIND... !!! The reason I've bred for all these yrs is that I could not buy dogs like mine with the heavy hair coats and cute personality and extreme life spanned and wonderful health.. I've seen tons of yorkies and I'd not exchange mine for very many of them. When I breed there is a purpose of it, many time keeping something from that breeding..Just like with Ceylon, I bought her to breed to Bumbie.. As I love the line he is out of as the are pure black silk.. But I lost my girl trying to get a litter from Angel and Soleil... If I had it to do over I would never have done it! But that's water under the bridge.. People even in home breeders that produce puppy's yr round are small time puppymills as the only point to their breeding is selling puppy's.. They buy females from all over and then breed and sell pups. Very few can give you any info as to longevity or health issues or if they do tell you .. Being a good breeder as they tell you? You see they keep breeding those dogs together and producing more pups to sell..Which I see all the time.. Keeping the breeding of known faults going and selling with full reg.. So that person can produce some more of these lesser quality dogs. And they cycle keeps going.. I'm glad I have my own dogs and can keep with out the worry of so many issues that are out there.. This is really why I breed for myself.. the extra's are sold at a decent price to the right people as I can't keep them all.. but would like to ![]() Last edited by Rosie 1; 01-07-2008 at 11:52 AM. |

| ![]() I agree I am no expert by any means of the term but there are some very "different" looking Yorkies on her website. Plus I am kind of curious as to why it seems like a lot of her puppies are 6 months or older before they are sold.

If someone trys to sell you one that is so tinny with out you knowing how to care for it you can loose them... Many times these dogs have blood sugar problem the rest of their lives as they are tinny eaters. If they skip a meal it may be there last..They have no body weight to carry them though. I have one that I bred myself Bumbie and he's a bear to get him to eat right.. He's barely 3#. I could not imagine breeding one his size.. ![]() |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | ![]() What really caught my eye was seeing how many dames and sires she had listed! That's a lot of dogs for just two people to be taking care of, then add the puppies, etc. I would be a little weirded out if I saw that in person ![]()

| ![]() ![]() I don't think someone should own a dog if they're just going to keep it outside all the time. I argue with my dad on this. He thinks dogs are messy. Yes, they are...so are children though and both are a commitment that should live inside the home ![]() There's no way a kennel dog is going to get as much love.

| ![]() It is my opinion that they are purposely breeding for tiny yorkies and I do not like the kennel environment at all . I don't like it and I wouldn't ever consider buying a puppy from this person.

| ![]() I am not a breeder but personally I would not breed a dams that small. After I got my baby some guy offered me a lot of money if he could breed my girl when she was ready and I talked to my vet about it and she said she would never breed a femail under 4Lb. |
