Yes I agree that is why it breaks my heart so much...I never did get to the last page of all their breeding females...I just could not keep looking...never made it through all the kennel pics either...I have seen so much of this stuff...that it just crushes my heart everytime I see it...

Sad story warning -
Many years ago, we belonged to an AKC kennel club. One active member of this club was a lady who raised and showed Great Danes. She had 7 Danes living IN her house. All things considered would lead one to believe she was a truly responsible pet owner and breeder.

She told us, quite openingly, that she had recently bred one of her bitches for a particular color for showing. Her dam had 11 puppies... none the sought after color. They were, however, otherwise all quite normal, healthy, and excellent specimens of the breed. But there were not the sought after color. She could have had the local paper run a free ad but all it would have said was "free dog". She could have posted posters. She could have given them away from various parking lots and places. No. Instead, she chose to put them in paper bags and freeze them.

It just goes to show you that sometimes you just can never tell.

Please tell us that you reported her to ensure that she would not be breeding any longer because that is sick and beyong cruel!!!!

Being the OP, these responses are exactly what I was looking for OPINIONS of everyone. I mean somtimes Im confused when I look at a post about a site, and I think the site looks pretty good. But some of these people with much more knowledge than I say, I would never purchase a puppy from there. I am learning I need to know WHY they would or would not purchase a puppy from a particular breeder. I need to know the red flags. This is the first expensive animal I have purchased and I do not want to spend that much money and purchase a sick puppy for more than I might have spent on a very healthy puppy. And I am by no means saying that this lady has sick puppies, Im just saying in general. Thanks a million!!!!

I'm afraid not. We thought about it long and hard, but we had no proof. She simply would have denied everything.

We're glad you're getting out of this what you were seeking. But, we're also sorry you couldn't get anyone with any direct contact with that breeder. We would have loved to see them also. Best of luck to you.

What cute puppies........I don't condone breeding females under 4 lbs and wouldnt buy from someone who mass produces puppies or the puppies live outside the house. I do have to say the puppies are very cute and she has 237 pages of sold puppies, so if you have never seen anything negative about her, it would appear she seems to be selling healthy puppies and that is a good thing. I am glad the origional OP is asking questions and getting many opinions. If you decide to buy a puppy from this place I would suggest you go to the kennel and see it, not have a puppy shipped. The puppies are darling but I would want to see the parents since she doesnt state who they are and see the actual living conditions. Good luck in your search.

I was trying to stay out of this, but since you've said this, this is ALL I was trying to say. I also thought her Yorkies were adorable and I was going to CHECK her out for a possible future Yorkie. I have a lot of kennels I want to check out. I'm not going to buy from the first place I visit. Nor am I saying I WANT a 2 lb Yorkie. I want a HEALTHY yorkie first! No way would I buy from her if her Yorkies are not healthy and taken care of... or any breeder for that matter.

I do not know this breeder so I cannot say anything about her personally, I will just comment on what I see on her website. First of all, her dams and sires are VERY tiny dogs! I am so sad to see this happening! Also, I am not trying to be rude,but I have to agree with the people that said they do not like the look of her dogs. I guess we all have our own idea of what "cute" is....

OMG..I didn't even look at the kennel pics until now. Ugh...looks almost like a puppymill with all those cages and runs. It looks like a clean facility which is great but poor dogs...not much contact..living in cages. Even the puppies are raised in cages! That is SO detrimental to them & their socialization.
