Am I paranoid?

I could accept her dying from health issues or old age but an accident would just devestate me even more...I would probably never forgive myself if something happened to her.

i am with you on this! i told my hubby that i will never ever get over it or forgive myself if something happened to my babies..i can't even think about how i would be without my girls.

I do the same thing, I think about chester when Im gone and at work, I just want to cuddle with him all the time. I live in a apartment complex that does not accept pit bulls but people sneak them in and Im afarid of that sometimes A pitbull got out and ended up at my front door, chester smelled him and about tore the door down. I have a neighbor that I trust him with, she also has a silky/ yorkie. Chester makes my life complete.

I totally do this too! Whenever my husband wants to do anything or go anywhere, my first thought is "What about the puppies!" I am lucky he is so understanding! He actually setup a webcam for me so that I can keep an eye on them while I am at work. I don't know how that would do any good if they started getting into trouble, but somehow it seems to help. (I probably need the most therapy)

girl, you and i both! lol..my hubby and i check the girls via webcam while we are at work...i just feel better knowing that i can see them when i want to see them..heheh..

wow i am totally the same way and now its worse because we found out lacey has mvd! at least before i felt like i could drop lacey off at my moms or best friends house if i had to run some place but now i feel like no one will know what to watch for or how to comfort her or they might not feed her or giver her the meds she needs when she needs them. i know my mom cant do it because i had to run a kid to the hosp. and called my mom who drove a half hour to get to my house so she could give lacey her food and meds she called me up crying because of her parkinsons she couldnt give her the meds and brenda my friend was at work. so yes i think about lacey all the time when we have to leave her with someone and worry so much that i find my self almost panicing to get home. i am trying to figure out a way to get something that says she has to be able to go places (like a service dog would) because she needs her meds ect... i thought i worried before but now its really really bad.

I am horrible also.We are going to be gone this weekend and I am leaving all 7 home with my 3 boys (ages 15,18,19).(we have a wrestling tourney 4 hours away for our youngest age 9,it is a individual tourney and a team tourney,he is wrestling in both) My mom usually comes and cannot this time
I have been telling them all week what I want done etc,they just say okay mom it will be fine.
I have a female who is due in 2 weeks also and I am worried a bit about her for she has gotten very picky here the past few days.
So I have a 2 page list of things I want done potty times outside and what to feed when ,who goes were at night in what pen.
And what to do with the boys during the day so they have no fights or discussions. And make sure my little guy has a belly band on at all times or I will come back to a pee house.
Hubby thinks it is going to be a nice relaxing weekend .I am thinking not!!
We havent even left yet and I cannot wait to get back.

Good News! You are not paranoid or crazy....nope....you're a Yorkie Mom! haha We all worry and drive ourselves crazy over these furbutts! it's normal!

Your not alone on this.. I'm the same away. I won't leave Cody James with anyone but my mom cause he loves her to death and she has been around yorkies for a while.
So if i have to go somewhere he can't he goes in his pet taxi and i still worry.

i've already got a few gray hairs at 26 yrs old

I'm lucky that I'm home with them most of the time. I have the house pretty much dog proofed, so I don't worry too much if I have to go out for an hour or so.

trust me I def don't think that you are paranoid. When Jasmin got spayed we went to pick her up from the vets office and I passed out my husband caught me so I would not hit my head on the floor. I worry about her tremendously the only people that I will let watch her when I go on vacation and she can't come is my parents but they have a shih-tzu so they are best friends and then I don't have to worry but ugh that little girl has taken 20 years off of my life I agree with everyone we should all have ther apy lol!!

I feel the same way, never go anywhere anymore unless they come with me, for those rare occations i leave them at home with my Mom as she feels the same way, and if we both have to go somewhere , i have my good friend watch them and max time was about 3hrs and then i am a nervous wreck the whole time, sigh....Dogs feel the same way, as my mom has to hold both of them on her lap till i return ...I thought Rosi was a Mommas girl she says Apollo whines and cries till i get home

Ummm we have a secret "paranoid" club going in chat.....Im actually the president and paulapoo vice pres. and I do believe Kim (simonandhallie) holds a seat also....we all talk each other thru our paranoia...so no your definately not alone and if ya ever need live support come into chat....we are all equally paramoid and very understanding....we just sit up til the wee hours of the night talking to each other until the other is okay with situation and always do follow up visits

oh, btw.....I just cancelled a 14 day trip tp Florida with my family bought and paid for by my parents we all go as a family everyyear at Easter all because Diggy does not like the car at all and he would have to ride for 30 minutes to airport and i cannot imagine he would like a plane either so I am not going.... I will stay behind in wonderful Michigan while the rest of my family goes. Hows that for being crazy over your dogs??

well i think in all of our cases (especially those who posted on this thread), we are more what you might call uber concerned rather than "paranoid" our babies are our babies!

i think about mine all day when i am at work unless i am super super swamped and even then i daydream for a couple minutes (lol) ... my fiancé gets to work from home and be with them all day

and talk about being "uber concerned," i just emailed tracey (whom i got miss buffey from) and told her i thought maybe miss buffey was too small and thin!! she is soo sweet though and assured me that miss buffey is just smaller framed like her daddy...whew!!! she is definitely not starving and eats like a champ but is just a wee thing...but yes, i was SOOO worried today until i heard back from tracey!
