| I took my puppy there and I loved this one woman who allowed me to come in and help her hold Chewy. I always stayed right there and waited. Since he was not being bathed there was no reason for me to have to come back. Have a picture of what you want. Tell them you want to stay and watch, and if things don't look like they are going well get him out of there! i liked pet smart until it took 3 people to hold down my 3 pound dog, and then called me in to help hold him!!!! He was so traumatized that I have not had him groomed there since. i do it myself. But if you can find on groomer there that you like you might be fine.

| Thank you all SOOO MUCH for your responses. Anytime that I have questions you all are always so nice and understanding. Many of you have PMed me messages of your situations and given me advice on what to say and how to go about this experience and I am so grateful. My boyfriend said I am going to worry myself to death over who grooms our baby but I have put so much love ( and money) into her and she deserves the best. Misti1 thanks so much for your suggestions. I actually called those places and one didnt even bother to return the phone call and the other couldnt get me in until almost late January . So my decision is to take her to Petsmart on Friday and stay the whole time and hopefully come out with my little girl a nice little cut. |

![]() even though they do the same thing every time...i make sure to tell them anyways... cut around the paws, around the ears, trim her bangs, but keep the top knot, trim a little bit from the body, trim around the tail, cut her nails... the way i see it, if you are trusting them with your furbutt, and you're paying them to do something... then that is what they should do, and i make sure to tell them exactly what i want I remember at petsmart they have you sign a paper that says they'll shave your dog if he/she is too matted, i always signed it... but maybe you can tell them that you won't sign you want to see why they'd shave him... how matted he is or whatever...
