| I have to agree with MyFairLacy, buying from a bad breeder just allows them more money to operate and have more dogs that they don't treat properly. I would certainly report the place to the SPCA or other authorities. Maybe the pup will end up in a shelter for adoption. Would be better off there I would think. Nothing burns me up more than mistreated animals. I just don't get it.

| BANNED! | I would have to say report her and look elsewhere. Why not get Dee's (sugar's mom) precious little Ms. Thang she has?? Dee is asking the same price and you know shes healthy and adorbale if you check out the nursery you will see her pics. Here's the link she reduced her to 1500.00 and I personally think she is a doll. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=102522 whatever your choice is I hope you find what your looking for!! good luck and best wishes. |

| If you decide to get her you have to understand you might be getting a yorkie with problems. I too would be tugged at the heart to rescue her, but if you weigh all the responsiblites and still want her I'd get her.

| While this is a tough call, because the yorkie faces are just adorable. Please realize if you purchase the puppy you are saving one little one, if you call the spca you are giving ALL those poor puppies a chance at a good home. If you are loosing sleep because of what you saw ... I think you may be feeling sad about all of the puppies in general. Once the pups are taken to shelters, given meds, cleaned up, you will feel you've helped many and sleeping will come easier. Hug, and good luck.

| I think that I have made the decision not to get her. I do keep looking at her picture on my cell phone though.... . My husband keeps asking me if we are getting her and I tell him I think that we might be getting in over our head. The lady said that she would take $1,200.00 for her now. |

| That's a TOUGH decision. By getting her you'll feel like you're helping her, but you're really not helping the situation by supporting a BYB. I guess you have to think of it with the same concept as the pet stores....by buying from them you're just supporting puppy mills. I know it hurts, but I would walk far away and find yourself a GOOD breeder. And if you don't feel the dogs were in good or ideal conditions, call your local humane society or aspca and have them check her out. THAT would be doing that little girl a favor. I hope this helps you some and good luck!

Another flag that raises it's ugly head to me is that you said she would take less money for her if you'd take her now. Most any good breeder won't back down on their price just to sale the pup right away. I paid $1,500 for Lotte b/c I bought her from a good qualified show breeder. I got what I paid for. And that was the price, there was no discount or bargaining. I don't want to make this little girl sound like she's not special. EVERY yorkie is special! But you really do want to get what you're paying for....and from the way this lady and her dogs sound.....they wouldn't be worth paying that kind of money for.

| She does have food and water. I think that the biggest issue that I have is that she leaves them outside. She gives them their vaccinations herself and worms them. It is just hard to see little yorkies outside in open cages knowing that it is getting in the 20's at night, but they do have dog houses to get into. |

| SORRY I'm posting so much! I also just though, if she's not breeding these babies will....you have to wonder what all sort of health issues you may have down the road and the vet bills that will come from it....there is a lot to think about. I know it's hard to decide. I'm trying to help though. OK, I'm not posting again. lol
