Since you have other dogs, you really need to think "worse case scenario" when you consider the financial impact buying her could have on the dogs you have now. I'd be especially worried since this puppy is so small. Personally, I would not support this puppy mill, byb or whatever she is. That's how these people stay in business. As the other poster said, if her dogs are truly AKC registered, report her to the AKC. By doing so, you are part of the solution, not part of the problem.

| I am not the one to give advice b/c I am so weak for animals. I know I wont be able to sleep at night knowing that she is outthere, But do what your heart tells you to do and follow your inner feelings, I will offer her less money of course and also report her after at least you have the puppy, You dont want the puppy to end up in the pond!!!! Good Luck & keep us posted

| I would be extra worried. I would try to report her. If your heart is really with the furbaby, I'd offer less. Just be prepared as others are warning. You really don't know what you are buying and for that price you can get a great quality Yorkie.

| I appreciate all your responses. I know that it is complete rip off to spend that much money on this dog and that I may be getting into something worse with vet bills and health issues. I just keep seeing her little face though..... |

| Mom to Marty & Maddie Donating Member | That is such a hard call. I can really see both sides...you don't want to support this awful breeder, but at the same time, you want to help the poor little puppy. Personally, if I had the money and felt I could give this baby the time and attention she's going to need, then I'd take her home with me, but I'd also report the breeder so that she might be forced to stop breeding and treating her animals this way... Whatever you decide, good luck! |

| about the pics, what cell carrier do you use? I know how to get pics from Alltel and Verizon if it;s either of those. My heart goes out to you. What a tough decision to make. My advice is to go with your heart. If you feel that you need her in your life and that your willing to incur poss. large expenses to save her. Then do it. It's all up to you hun. I def agree though to try and get her for a lower price if at all poss. Also try for a contract w/ some kind of guarantee. Please keep us updated with your thoughts. I am very interested in knowing what you decide. And would love to see this little girl |

| I can understand both sides......no one can tell you what to do, you have to make the decision that you feel most comfortable with. Best of luck!

| If she is turned in, then the dogs will go into rescue and they will get them all the medical attention and find them wonderful homes. If you truly want her for yourself, then ask the woman if you could have Vet. refrences and if she can't supply those then just tell her the dog needs medical attention, shots, bile acid testing and so on, is not a breed standard and your only going to offer her $300. Since the pup is already 4 months old (so she says, have you checked to see if the puppy still have baby teeth?) then chances are she hasn't been able to sell her anyway. I'd still turn her in and help all the other dogs. |

Has she seen the vet? My concern is bringing home something contagious to your other dogs. I had tears well up just thinking about it because it would be hard for me too even though i know what the right choice is. Let us know what you decide ((hugs))
