Another flag that raises it's ugly head to me is that you said she would take less money for her if you'd take her now. Most any good breeder won't back down on their price just to sale the pup right away. I paid $1,500 for Lotte b/c I bought her from a good qualified show breeder. I got what I paid for. And that was the price, there was no discount or bargaining. I don't want to make this little girl sound like she's not special. EVERY yorkie is special! But you really do want to get what you're paying for....and from the way this lady and her dogs sound.....they wouldn't be worth paying that kind of money for.
