| When you have a yard sale (not about yard sales)..lol I wonder why people question the cost of an item? Then try to talk you down? My reaction is always "When you go to the gas station to get gas and the sign reads $3.32 a gal. for regular do you go in and try to talk the cashier down $1.75 or do you just get your gas, so you can continue to have transportation? I have noticed people also do this with yorkies.. Yesterday I went to Petsmart to get some dog food and this guy and his girlfriend inquired about little male I had in the basket and wanted to buy him. I told him his price was $1900 and he said I will give you $900 right now.. I was like this is a idiot.. and kindly told him that I dont go down on my price and I dont just sale my babies because you walk up to me and say I have the money.. (Like, who DOES THAT??) So the lady was telling him to offer me more Im like and Im like whats wrong with these people ?? I told them I dont just sale my babies to just anyone, and the lady was like aww we would take care of him and we have other pets we have fish.. WTF a FREAKIN FISH TANK COME ON!!!...lol I told them I was not going to be selling him tonight and good luck in their quest to finding a yorkie.. and then this lady says her is my # to if I wanted to sale him.. ( ?????? ) (Like, who DOES THAT??) so SINCE this is NOT the 1st time I have had people approach me while I shop, I just wondered what your thoughts are and do you get approached by CRAZY people.. This is JUST One of my CRAZY Petsmart OUTTINGS... I am just curious on what you think and go through when you go out with your baby or babies

| all the time First off... garage sales are suppose to be for bartering... it's like when you go to Mexico... you never pay the marked price... you always barter... that is the fun of it. BUT... people always offer me way low prices for my dogs. I did however just sell a boy for 250 less because the ladies best friend (my neighbor nd a GREAT proff. photographer) offered to do my kids Christmas pics for me for free... sitting fee and all pics. So I WAY came out of the good end of the stick on that one. Plus I've been in sales for Xerox for a long time (although don't work now) and you wouldn't believe it but even major corporations barter... it is a little crazy! But I do enjoy the art of the deal. That being said... I would never let my baby go to a crappy home... would sell one for less to get a good home that I felt good about! Gut is everything in this line of work. |

| I could see if they asked you to take off 100, but all that money is crazy. Plus I think they should have asked questions of you first, and let you ask them questions, so you would know something about them. I'd never let my babies go to a total stranger that I knew nothing about.

| I guess I can see how bargaining is ok. I mean, it's not like I'm gonna bargain with the cashier at Macys, but when someone has an ad for a puppy for 800, I can see someone offering 700....but if the ad is for 800 and someone offers 400...welll... that's just plain dumb. You told them the price was 1900, so offering less than half of that wasn't really smart on their part. lol

| First off let me admit..I do bargain people at yard sales lol...yard sales are because people really want to get rid of their items..they dont want to haul them back in the house so they are willing to bargain for sure!! I obviously know the difference between a yard sale and a gas station lol..and I wouldnt try to buy someones puppy out of their shopping cart..I guess it takes all kinds but Im glad you stuck to your guns... | NOW IF I marked the price up at a yard sale then I would bargin.. But when they pull out a wad of money.... I shake my head...lol But I would NEVER sale a baby to a person who just walks up on me.. But people are crazy that way to think you will just take what they have to offer, these people were NOT even interested about the puppies health or ANYTHING they just saw a yorkie.

| I know exactly what you mean! People actually try to do that at my work (I work at a retail store) and tell me "Oh I'll give you $## for this" or "If I buy 2 pairs of shoes will you give me a deal?" I'm like "No, if you want it you have to pay the stickered price like everyone else. But I think at yard sales it's more o.k to do because so many people do it, and it's because your trying to get rid of the stuff, not run a company on it or anything.

| The last yardsale I had, people stole things. Can you believe it?? It made me so mad that someone would come to my home and steal. I got sick of selling a $40 pair of jeans for $2.00 and getting an arguement about that, so now I sell the better items on Ebay, and give the rest to goodwill. It was not worth the trouble.
