First off... garage sales are suppose to be for bartering... it's like when you go to Mexico... you never pay the marked price... you always barter... that is the fun of it. BUT... people always offer me way low prices for my dogs. I did however just sell a boy for 250 less because the ladies best friend (my neighbor nd a GREAT proff. photographer) offered to do my kids Christmas pics for me for free... sitting fee and all pics. So I WAY came out of the good end of the stick on that one. Plus I've been in sales for Xerox for a long time (although don't work now) and you wouldn't believe it but even major corporations barter... it is a little crazy! But I do enjoy the art of the deal. That being said... I would never let my baby go to a crappy home... would sell one for less to get a good home that I felt good about! Gut is everything in this line of work. |
