| The Hair Debate Hello! Tomorrow Chloe has a big hair appointment, and I'm confused on what to do with her long bangs. Actually, I couldn't sleep last night thinking about it. Everytime I try to put her hair back in a barrette or top knot she fights me and I only end up getting it about 20% of the time. Then she ends up taking it out in 10 minutes. So, I was thinking about cutting her bangs short and ditching the top knot. I also feel like a girl yorkie should wear a top knot, and if I don't get her use to it now she'll never wear one. Here is my inspiration picture. This is Vanessa Williams Yorkie...Enzo. |

| Do what makes YOU happy. My two have short hair (Ginger didn't always) and you know, we spend more time playing now . I think yorkies are beautiful no matter how their hair is cut...or NOT cut. Let us know what you decide! P.S. While Enzo is a cutie for sure, Chloe is even cuter to begin with so will look lovely whatever you decide.

| My lil girl used to take out her barrets and all too. I ended up getting her the little tiny orthodontist type rubber bands and then I put a barrett on top of it. It works and she cant get it out. Worth a try. Either way I am sure your baby will look great.

| I have been toying with the idea of getting Libby's hair cut and keeping it short. I have no problems putting a top knot in...it's just keeping it in, and believe me, I've tried everything. She always looks a mess. Maddie looks a mess most of the time because Libby messes up her hair too. Maybe I should get them both cut down. Anyway, I think yorkies are darling with short hair, and if that's what you want, then go for it. Good Luck!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I cut Cali down some awhile ago and wasn't realy happy about it but it grew back pretty fast. I also keep her topknot short enough to put a bow in when I want to but keep it down most of the time!!! I am sure Chloe will look cute either way.

| Starting this week I have been putting Ava's ponytail where the hair falls to the side of her face infron of her ear. Normally she will rub her hair and the front falls because it's not long enough. I accidentally put it where it fell to the side and she hasn't messed with it. I am praying this will work because I love a topnot, but I don't like to see her looking like a sheepdog and I know it must bother her.

| It's up to you like everyone else said. I went through the same thing when Lucy was going for her first hair cut. Oh I worried myself sick, but it does grow back. Thank God!! I cried when they brought her out looking like a boy. I just love the girls with long hair. My opinion that is. I buy the tiny rubber bands at Claire's for infants and I put those in her hair and then put her barrettes on top of that and they don't come out. I have to take them out myself. I love those little things they're the only ones I have found to stay in. Good luck, she's beautiful either way.

| I like the bangs, the top knot are beautiful, but I can't stand to see them with hair in their eyes. Zoey actually got a bald spot from her top knot, to me that made my decision easy. |

| It does take a little work to get them used to it and some just never like them. The bangs are cute and you still have the option of putting in a little ponytail right behind the bangs if you want to break out the bows every now and then. Sugar is the only one of my 3 with a topknot and he's a boy. I used to keep Gracie in one but all of a sudden at around 3 yrs. old, she realized she could get the bows out and chew on them so... chop chop.
