| excitement pee? Does your Yorkie pee when she sees a certain person or people? i.e: Belle pees whenever she sees my boyfriend...lol it's like she can't help herself so we have to have her walk outside to greet him, bc it happens every single time

| When I adopted my 2 they were 1 1/2 and Roxie used to do this anytime she was excited. I started saying no-no to her and picking her up & taking her outside. She stopped doing it. Her previous owners just allowed her to do it. She is almost 6, she probably hasn't had that type of accident in 2-3 yrs. So while I would like to think I helped her correct the behavior -- but maybe she just outgrew it

| Sammy does this. I hate it. He's 8 months old now. I try ignoring him when I get home (Which is REALLY HARD TO DO!!! and taking him to the newspaper or outside, he won't pee and then comes back to me and pees on the floor anywhere he wants. Also, I noticed a couple of times, I am playing fetch with him or something, and he will just stop and look at me and pee right in front of me as I'm looking. Any help please??!thanks |

| When I was married my husband had 2 jack russell terriers. He used to have to walk into the house first and let them out to potty because if I walked in, they'd pee all over the entryway. My shih poo did it for his first year, but grew out of it.

| My lhasa-poo did this for about the first year. I would try to take her out right before people came over but it didnt always work. Sometimes ignoring her worked. Mostly I think she just outgrew it.
