excitement pee? Does your Yorkie pee when she sees a certain person or people? i.e: Belle pees whenever she sees my boyfriend...lol it's like she can't help herself so we have to have her walk outside to greet him, bc it happens every single time :D :animal-pa |
When I adopted my 2 they were 1 1/2 and Roxie used to do this anytime she was excited. I started saying no-no to her and picking her up & taking her outside. She stopped doing it. Her previous owners just allowed her to do it. She is almost 6, she probably hasn't had that type of accident in 2-3 yrs. So while I would like to think I helped her correct the behavior -- but maybe she just outgrew it |
Sammy does this. I hate it. He's 8 months old now. I try ignoring him when I get home (Which is REALLY HARD TO DO!!! :) and taking him to the newspaper or outside, he won't pee and then comes back to me and pees on the floor anywhere he wants. Also, I noticed a couple of times, I am playing fetch with him or something, and he will just stop and look at me and pee right in front of me as I'm looking. Any help please??!thanks |
;) i have found Bella does it less and less. I make sure she goes potty before her special triggers come to the house! |

I used to ignore Bella too. That helped alot..but seems like you have another issue..lol I think he wants to be boss..lol |
When I was married my husband had 2 jack russell terriers. He used to have to walk into the house first and let them out to potty because if I walked in, they'd pee all over the entryway. My shih poo did it for his first year, but grew out of it. |
Nope....Buddy has never done this but my sisters Golden Retriever pees on anybody, everybody & everything....it's just gross!!! You're lucky that is just your bf. (it's kinda cute!!!!!) |
My lhasa-poo did this for about the first year. I would try to take her out right before people came over but it didnt always work. Sometimes ignoring her worked. Mostly I think she just outgrew it. |
Riley does it too. He doesnt pee a lot. He just drips a little bit. Lol.:p |
never heard of that ... you are lucky you can take her outside to meet and greet |
My lil one has just started doing this...she is 9 mths old and everytime I put her on the sofa to put her harness on to go outside or go for a drive in the car she will piddle......if someone comes to the door she is alright as I pick her up....but if it's my son or daughter coming to visit she will piddle...I don't understand why this is happening all of a sudden....any insight would surely help    |
Piddle we call that Piddling! my sisters dogs does it everytime she sees me....she is 2 and has did it since she was about 1. They just get soooo happy they Piddle!!! |
