My step grandpa just died a year ago and he told my mom where his insurance policies were for when he died so she could take care of it since shes the most responsible. Its in his will all the money go to my Grandma but my mom was to help her get it. Well when he died and we had to look for this stuff for funeral costs and stuff he apparently moved them (he was kind of out of it around that time) and we found them but they were all accidental so nothing was covered! Guess what we know he has some others somewhere because he promised my grandma be taken care of but we cant ask him because he not here. It something that should have been takin care of before he died.

So, I do have a few people lined out in case anything happens to me. One is my aunt and the other is my sister, both are amazing with dogs and I don't think I could possibly find better homes. I know they would both do the right thing and take very good care of them.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() I guess Bengi would go to my mom. She loves with to death, although she doesn't know a lot about the breed and how to take care of them, I'm pretty sure she would inform herself if she would need to. |

| ![]() My friend would take both Abby and Alphy. I've also made him promise to keep up with my girls. They are older 18 & 16 but dad is a bit of a dork and my friend would keep them on the straight and narrow. It is a morbid thought and no one likes to think about these things, but I feel better knowing that everyone will be looked after.

| ![]() I would actually give Cassie and Adie to Adie's breeder. She also works with small dog rescues and would be able to find a new home for them. I trust her to decide if they are too old to accept a third home. Ivan is another story. He is such a big dog I can't think of anyone but us that would want him. I have asked our neighbor to find him a good home. That is kind of hobby so I trust her to. If we died tomorrow another neighbor would snatch him up. He has always had german shepherds and he lost his last one a few months ago. He knows and loves Ivan. |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | ![]() I am very lucky, in that I don't have to think about this, as I know with certainity that my parents would take my three and love them as much as I do. I don't even need to ask them, they know how much I love my babies and would take over the care of them. I currently live with them, and they help me take care of them now, so I know they would do great with my parents!! My yorkies are already super attached to my parents so that would be easy on them, Captain would be a little harder as he is attached to me, but it would helped to stay with the girls.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() That is an easy one for me. My husband would take care of them if he was still here. If we both went together my Granddaughter gets the house and dogs as stated in our will. She has also promised to take good care of them so I'm not worried. Besides she is in her twenties so I know she would be around for them and would take such good care of then the may not miss me!

Mine aren't going to family, family just has instructions about WHO they go to. Join a dog group in your area, or a rescue, or find another way to get to know other animal lovers. It's through organizations like these that I've met the future guardians of my babies should anything happen to us.
