| Is this real? A little help please.... I was looking at a somewhat local newspaper online and found an ad for a yorkie, no price listed. So I emailed them and they emailed me back. It sounds fishy to me but the email wont copy so I can paste it here. Has anyone ever heard of Kimberly Lampart? The email is ifatlastpup44@gmail. She says the puppy is eight weeks old and potty trained! Wow! And she wants $600 for her.

| I guess you wont know until you go and check the puppy out...DO NOT send money to anyone you dont know but if you can see the puppy thats different..there is no way that the puppy is housebroken at 8 weeks old but maybe she has started training her. $600.00 seems like the going rate for a dog that isnt papered.. | Here it is....., Below are informations about the Puppy: Breed: Pure Breed Yorkshire Terrier Sex: Female Birth date: (8 weeks) Champion bloodlines: Yes Champion sired: No Show potential: Yes Champion Sired: No ****************************** ****************************** ************************ Hi, Thank You for the Message.I and my family are very happy to hear that you want to give our Cute & Adorable Home Trained,Potty Trained Purse Size/Tea Cup Yorkie a good home.Suga is AKC Registered,Vet Checked and up to date in her vaccinations...she weights 1lb now and she will be 3.5lbs when she fully grown up.Suga is still available and awaiting a good family home that could love her forever. What's Included:Registration Paper Current vaccinations Veterinarian examination Health guarantee(1Year) Certificate of health Health Record. We are willing to let you have her if you promise that you give all love care and attension she needed, just like the kind we have been giving her.We are asking 600USD for adoption and shipping included (Total is $600).I must let you know...letting her go is the Hardest thing that i and my family could ever do but we have no choice than to let her go because we wouldn't have much time to take care of her. We left CA because my husband got a new job...I am with my Family and the little puppy is here now so that means we would be shipping Suga from here...My sister would be taking care of the shipment of the little puppy to you so you have nothing to worry about. My son just got an admission to study law at the University Of East London,i got a new job which would be taking 14hours of my time daily and my husband would also be going to the military soon and as you can see, there would be no one to take great care of our cutie, Although we have neighbors but i must tell you,we think they can not take care of the puppy as we want because most of them also go to work. We are willing to ship her to you if you promise us that the puppy would be getting all the love, care and attention that she desires which i think matters to us most and also one more thing that matters to us is that you would also have to promise my son that you would be sending us pictures of the puppy every month so that we can see how she grows. We are willing to let you have the puppy if you promise us those two things. ************************************************** ********************************* Get back to us with your shipping information such as your full name and address and also with the name and address of the nearest airport to you if you are still interested in the Puppy and if you are willing to promise us the above, i will be handling her over to the Puppy Cargo's Office as soon as payment is confirm. We would be hoping to hear from you soon. Have a Nice Day. Regards, Kimberly.

| If that was in your paper, I would bring it to their attention that it is a scam...

| You need to be careful. I had a similar situation with a person selling a yorkie. It was also an online add for a local paper. It turned out to be a scammer.Usually they dont post their number and they claim to live out of state or international and usually the dog sounds too good to be true, which seems to sound like your situation. What you have to consider is.. Why would someone who wants to sell a puppy post an add without a phone number. Also why not sell in your area.If the person cares so much about their dog then they would prefer not to ship it. Not that shipping is a bad thing but its just easier and less stressful on the puppy if its sold locally. They also seem to give to many explanations on why they are selling the puppy.Ask her to email you a copy of the dogs pedigree and the kennel clubs registration number. If its a fake she probably will decline.Good luck and be careful. |

| Steer clear! Rotten people and their scams! I saw one in our local newspaper and thought it a scam, so emailed them and sure enough. I was going to let the newspaper know so they could take the ad out, and it was already gone...someone else had already brought it to their attention.

| I think this is a scam as well. When I was looking around for another dog, I got many e-mails similar to this. There are many scams like this going on where they ask for the money first, and then you never hear from them again. |

| There are still a lot of them down here for $500-$600, and I got my first one at 6 weeks, and she was pretty much running to the pee pad by the time she was 8 weeks..She wasn't completley housebroke, but pretty close to it, so, it's worth going to look at |
