You need to be careful. I had a similar situation with a person selling a yorkie.It was also an online add for a local paper.It turned out to be a scammer.Usually they dont post their number and they claim to live out of state or international and usually the dog sounds too good to be true, which seems to sound like your situation.What you have to consider is.. Why would someone who wants to sell a puppy post an add without a phone number.Also why not sell in your area.If the person cares so much about their dog then they would prefer not to ship it. Not that shipping is a bad thing but its just easier and less stressful on the puppy if its sold locally.They also seem to give to many explanations on why they are selling the puppy.Ask her to email you a copy of the dogs pedigree and the kennel clubs registration number. If its a fake she probably will decline.Good luck and be careful. |
