| Elphaba getting so smart!! She'll be 14 weeks tomorrow. And she's been sitting and playing fetch for like 2 weeks now. But this weekend the real excitement. She's letting me know when she wants to go outside! And we've gone 48 hours now with NO accidents! I did the whole bell on the front door thing, and she's used that a couple of times and outside we went. But she also is signaling at the back door. I'm usually sitting by it while I am on the computer (which is a lot between the internet and school) and she'll use her paws to scratch at the door and if I don't notice she gives a little cry and when I look at her she's just sitting at the door waiting for me. And I know she really NEEDS to go out cuz its been raining all weekend and she HATES the rain. That and when I want to take her out I usually have to chase her around the house, but when she signals she lets me pick her right up and take her out! I'm so excited!!!! |

| That is great for such a young one! And BTW I LOVE her name!!! I loved the books 'Wicked' and 'Son of a Witch'. I assume that is where you got her name. I was looking at naming my boy Liir, the son of Elphaba, but decided on Sweet William. Now I may use Liir as his second name instead of Cale. Those were such fun books to read. Good Luck with little Elphaba. ~Melody
