| Washable Pee Pads How long do washable pee pads last? How often do you need to change them? How often do you need to buy new ones? How do you wash them? Where is the best place to get them? I am debating whether or not to get these or the regular disposable type. |

| I ended up buying about 5 reusable pads for my Lola and my sister's chihuahua because they were chewing up the disposable ones. I change them twice a day because I pick up the poop in toilet paper and flush... Some days i change it more.... it just depends on how much they go or if they have soft stool. They have a play area upstairs and then my room, that's why i had to buy so many. They seem to last a long time and i wouldn't go back to disposable pads. It's nice not having to go buy a pack of pads every few weeks.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Well I have 2 of them, if they only use them to pee it is good sometimes for up to 2 or 3 days, there's no smell or anything. If they poop, which they do i wash them

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I had to switch to the washable pee pads because Kenzi was chewing the disposable ones. I have 4, but plan to order a few more. I wash them in soap and bleach. I change them depending on the amount of use. I certainly don't change after one accident. I have had them for about 5 months and they are still in like new condition. Got them from fellow YT'er KathrynV at BeyondSpoiled.com. She has two sizes available.

| ^^ The chewing is what I'm afraid of with the disposable ones. Also, I'm hoping to not spend a small fortune on the disposables. |

| I use cloth baby diapers. I put a waterproof crib mattress pad below them. The mattress pads should not be dried, they don't hold up in laundry as well as the diapers. I change them every 2 days, and that's for 2 dogs, but they go potty outside too. They only go on the diapers while I"m at work. They shrunk a little but they are holding up well with me washing them in bleach once a week. I keep the soiled ones in a trash can with a lid until laundry time. I have thought about sewing 2 of them together or buying the ones from valethics.com, but for now, it's working out very well. Good Luck, it's been a lifesaver for me.

| Reusable Pee Pads My puppy loves to shred Wee Pads, so I bought the reusable pads from Target. I have 2 blue ones and a pink one. Cost was $9.99. They are great and my puppy has not torn them up. |

| I made mine from water proof mattres pads, I think I have about 14 now; but I have 5 babies! I wash them about every other day in soap & bleach. So far they're working great. |

| I made mine from reclaimed hospital underpads that I put new tops on. They are great! They don't leak and they are cute, too! Here is a picture of some of the latest ones I made: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90173
