I ended up buying about 5 reusable pads for my Lola and my sister's chihuahua because they were chewing up the disposable ones. I change them twice a day because I pick up the poop in toilet paper and flush... Some days i change it more.... it just depends on how much they go or if they have soft stool. They have a play area upstairs and then my room, that's why i had to buy so many. They seem to last a long time and i wouldn't go back to disposable pads. It's nice not having to go buy a pack of pads every few weeks.
