| I have always had two dogs and have never had any problems (other than the usual - house breaking, etc.) My dogs have always become fast loyal friends and good company for one another. Plus it is so much fun to watch them run and play. No jealousy - ever!! At one time, I had two dogs, two cats, and a bird. Plus I worked 20 hours a week. I honestly felt then that I didn't have enough time to give them all the attention they deserved. Seems like my dogs came first - then one cat and finally the other. So - I always felt a little sorry for my fourth pet. He was an affectionate little guy who wanted to cuddle along with the others, but it just seemed like there were always too many other pets in his way. So - little Duke made "best freinds" with all my neighbors and they adored him and pampered and spoiled him. He even spent nights with them. So - for me there is a limit (time-wise) to how many pets I can have and give a lot of special attention to. Good luck - I do think two dogs are much better than one. Carol Jean |

| I have two Yorkies. Gabi was 13 months old when I introduced Gina (now 4 months) to our household. I must admit that at first Gabi had her nose put out of joint (big time) I got the cold shoulder from her for about a week!!) As soon as she realised that she was still top dog, and that nothing was going to change, things got back to normal (if things can ever be considered normal in a household that has Yorkies!) Even now, I always make sure that she is treated as top dog. She gets fed first, she gets picked up onto the bed first etc etc. Now she just LOVES Gina, and they hare (sic??) around the house all day having great fun. She does have her moments when she does not want to play, and then lets Gina know "enough" with a gentle snarl I do not for one minutre regret having two Yorkies. Good luck and enjoy!
