| Submissive Pee-only on my bed Chance is 5months old and I have never seen him do the submissive pee dance. Except when I put him up on my bed. Twice the kids have come home...and he does the little butt wiggle pee on my bed. Maybe because they are approaching him instead of him running to people? My bed is kinda up high and he cannot jump off so maybe he feels trapped? should I not let him on my bed? Or put him down when someone enters the room. It has only been my kids that he knows very well and live in the house. |

| My 9-month old doesn't pee on the bed - but whenever he gets on my bed - he is so happy and excited that he is just beside himself. He jumps, he plays, he rolls over, and he runs around in circles. So - I can certainly understand an excited little dog peeing in this situation. But - usually this is puppy (young dog) behavior and something that is finally outgrown. Good luck, Carol Jean |

| Butt wiggling and peeing sounds like excitement - not submission - to me. Submissive peeing is using done when the pup rolls over on his back and pees while in that position. In any case, I wouldn't allow the kids to approach him when he's on my bed or I wouldn't allow him on my bed in the first place!

not true...submissive peeing is not only when they roll over. you kid can be sitting or cowering and that can still be considered submissive peeing. | |
