| Potty training at other people's houses Lola does very well with her potty pads at my house, but not so well at other people's. She's only had 1 accident at my house recently, she peed on the tree skirt while I was standing right there, she was only one room away from her pads. It was really odd because she usually won't go potty if anyone is around. She basically potty trained herself because she absolutely wouldn't go infront of anyone. She peed a small amount at my aunt's house once. The other day she peed at my BFFs house 3 small times and she peed a big puddle at a petstore while looking me in the eye like "I'm sorry I can't hold it anymore". I think she was trying to hold it at BFF's and just peed enough to relieve the pressure. She peed a lot when we got home. When I took her on a day trip she went over 6 hours without peeing. At my BFF's house I put the pad in a private quiet place and showed her where it was. After she peed the first time I put it over that spot, the second pee was 2ft from the pad and the third was in another room. She doesn't go potty outside, I'm not sure how to teach her since she wants privacy. |

| My little marker will pee on anything that doesn't pee on him first, so to avoid losing my welcome at my parents house and other friends, I have taken the easy way out & bought belly bands. The only time we use them is when visiting in homes. At PetSmart, I just keep him in a basket in the cart, and if I ever take him in any other store, I just hold him. Before the belly bands, I could not enjoy a visit anywhere, because I was constantly watching the dog & taking him outside every 15 min to ensure that his bladder stayed empty so that even if he tried to mark, nothing would come out... I've been very happy that the last 2 times we have visited, there has been nothing inside the belly band, meaning he hasn't even tried to mark; that wasn't my intended purpose, but if it works...

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I do not know if this will help but when I was teaching Galen I would say go pee pee. When he peed I would get excited and say good pee pee and give him a treat. Now I tell him go pee pee and he goes. No treats but I still tell him good pee pee. Good luck

| I don't really want to use diapers, but I would if I were at a house where the people would get upset. I do tell Lola good potty when I see her go, but that's the problem, she usually won't go if anyone is around. |
