| ![]() His playpen. My dh also kindly set up a cam on Pluto's pen area so I can watch him on my phone throughout the day while I'm at work. |

| ![]() Charlie stays in a gated area between the kitchen and our bedroom. It has laminate flooring and we leave a pee pad down with his food and water in one corner and his crate or bed in another. We also leave toys. He is about 15 months and he is not a climber, so he hasn't learned to get over it yet (hope he doesn't) LOL. If we are gone for short periods of time (less than a couple of hours) he is just crated. He usually doesn't use the pee pad and has never had an accident in his crate. I don't feel confident giving him free reign in the house yet. He does still tend to mark or have accidents occasionally and I also worry about him getting into something when we aren't here. |

| ![]() Couver and Khloe are 3 and almost 2 and still don't have free range of the entire house all day. They have their own (large) bedroom that has hardwood. They have potty pads, a kennel to lay in, a heated blanket, chair and mannnny toys to play with during the day. DH comes home for lunch and plays with them and lets them out. For the second half of the day, they are allowed to stay downstairs and lounge on the couch and our bed. When we run errands that they can't come on, they are allowed to stay downstairs. We find if they are downstairs all day, they find something to get into... and cause trouble... so they will continue to stay upstairs for half of the day until they can prove themselves.
