Couver and Khloe are 3 and almost 2 and still don't have free range of the entire house all day. They have their own (large) bedroom that has hardwood. They have potty pads, a kennel to lay in, a heated blanket, chair and mannnny toys to play with during the day. DH comes home for lunch and plays with them and lets them out. For the second half of the day, they are allowed to stay downstairs and lounge on the couch and our bed. When we run errands that they can't come on, they are allowed to stay downstairs. We find if they are downstairs all day, they find something to get into... and cause trouble... so they will continue to stay upstairs for half of the day until they can prove themselves. |
