| When we leave our yorkies are gated in the family room. We have 2 big dogs so they are separated when we aren't there. The big dogs are gated in the kitchen and living room. All are large rooms so everyone has lots of room to still run around in.

| My 2 are free on the first level of our home. It the weather is really nice, I keep the sunroom door open so they can be out there. Hot Rod loves to lay on the hot tub cover and look out all the windows. Since it's been hot and humid, they generally like to be in my sewing room. I have a recliner in there that Hot Rod just loves to curl up on and Maggie has taken over my scrap basket. lol

| Lily, Rubin, and Gracie have run of the house except the guest bedroom. The two puppies are in a play pen.

| We keep our 6 month old Ozzy in a playpen in the family room. I highly recommend it. He is happy, and he never soils it, even though he's in there all day - from about 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. I always give him water and a special treat (his kong filled with wet food and crunchy treat) and he can't even wait to go in. I also have his bed and his toys in it, and we keep the mesh top off. He has no barking or whining issues because he's not patrolling a huge area. It's also nice because we can fold the playpen up really small in about 10 seconds and take it anywhere. I have to admit that seeing our puppy jumping up and down with joy in his playpen when I come home always make me smile and laugh. When we're home he has free run of the main floor, which is hardwood and linoleum. Carpet is off limits for now.

| Abby, Bella, Pheebs (& Foster) have free range of a long hallway, and a master bedroom & bathroom while I am at work. Pee Pads are at the very end of the hallway. Beds, water bowls & basket of toys are in my bedroom. Tallulah, the however is always working security detail so, she must have full range of the premises...lol! She monitors the Yorkies who somehow hop onto her kitty tree! According to them...it's really a YorkieTree...duh!

| That set up is so cute! Is Bella catching up to Tibbs in size? I have Ahi gated in the kitchen when we aren't home and during part of my "work" hours.(I work from home) It's big enough for her to play, sleep, and potty in. She actually doesn't get to stay home by herself much. I think in all the time we had her only twice she stayed home by herself...for only a couple of hours too.

| They go to work with me. When I go to the store, they have an entire bathroom to run and play and sleep in. We use a baby gate to keep them in.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | My yorkies go in my entry way which is large and ceramic tiles. The are potty trained but just got new carpet. And the cairns go in the kitchen bathroom also tiled and I just feel better when I am gone separating them. When I am home which is most of the time they run the whole house. I think you are doing it right with your pup

| We already had a Border terrier when we adopted our elderly Yorkie girl, and as Peggy the Yorkie has no teeth I am super nervous that if they should have a scrap when we are out then Peggy can't protect herself. They seem to get on fine together but Rosie the Border stays in the kitchen when we are out and Peggy stays in the utility room - just in case. We have only had Peggy a few months and when I am sure they will be ok, they will have the run of the kitchen and utility. |

| chloe is getting ready to turn 5 months...she is crated when I leave the house, even if I go out to mow the grass. She's never left unsupervised! She's still mischievous! LOL |
