| I'd say she is getting her cuddle time with the "kids" before she leaves, that's normal. BTDT on the deployment deal. You could try to rock the boat now, nicely, if you would like and try to talk to her about the sleeping arrangement, or you could wait and crate train them to sleep on their own after she has left. Be aware that there might be some issues because the dogs will miss her. Have patience though, as dogs don't understand momma went to defend her country. I wish you luck...you sound like a great person to love those pups so much and continue to care for them in your partners absence. Kudos to you!!! This is a great place for support though, so keep on coming back. The people who post here are such good sources for everything doggie related.

| Yeah you are very right. They both have very different personalities. Snickers is very energetic, and Pickles is very calm and quiet. To have them both together can be a handful, so I try and give them "mommy time" individually because they will claw each other for attention. Snickers whimpers during the night until he tires himself out and goes to sleep. They have their own bedroom with their individual pens side by side and nightlights. I love them both so much and I give them all the love I have, I just don't want to feel guilty by not having them in the bed. |
