| Lulu is ringing her bells to go outside! It's been a little while since I've posted but I just had to come share this accomplishment. We bought Poochie Bells a while back & began trying to train Lulu to ring the bells to go potty outside. I thought she would never get it, but finally a few days ago she rang the bells to be let outside! I wasn't sure if she did it by simply playing with it or if she really rang them knowing she would get to go out...when I went to investigate, she looked up at me and then at the door & rang the bells again as if to say didn't you hear? I want out. She rings it mostly to go out to play, but she will do her business while out there as well. We're still having accidents in the house (mostly poo accidents)...I'm hoping she will eventually ring her bell to go out everytime she needs to potty but this is a great start, IMO. She at least understands that ringing the bells allows her to get to go outside even if it is just to chase bugs & roll around in the grass.

| I'm so happy for you. Mine rings bells, too. It takes them awhile to learn it. I remember at first mine would ring them all of the time. Heck! It was fun! Then she learned to just ring them to go potty.

| That is awesome! I never even thought of that. Where do you put the bell? By the door on the wall or something?

| How exciting! Way to go Lulu!! Mine is trained to ring bells too, and I found it was harder to train for poo ...maybe because they go once instead of several times every day? IDK but good luck! She'll get it soon. |

| Yay Lulu!! I am such a huge fan of bell ringing for potty. Not only is it adorable, but it's an incredible way to be able to communicate with you pet.

| I love the fact that she can communicate with me. This was our first attempt will bell training & I thought she'd never get it. Good thing we kept at it & didn't give up!

| Congrats -- That is great! I have often thought of trying the bells myself. Mine have ways to let me know they want to go out, but the bells seem a lot nicer.

They will eventually just ring it with their nose. I just didn't think she would much like me pushing her nose into it! Did you watch the video in the above link?

| You are really going to love the bells. I don't have the ones that hang on the door. I have the bell they hit with their paw or nose. I'm sure it's the same training technique. Just be consistent and one day you'll be really surprised!
