| Morkie ears We have an adorable 11 week old morkie named Miley. When we got her ears where down. Then after a couple weeks one decided to stand up, so we thought they would be up. Now she has decided to put it back down the last couple of days. Has this happened to anybody else? Will they keep going back and forth? |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I don't have a morkie, but I know my pups ears had a tendency to go up and down a lot, and that they did it more during teething and when they weren't feeling well. If you want to help keep them up, you can try taping them to help the cartilage set. There are several good videos on youtube about taping. You can also try "tipping" the ears- meaning shaving the ears about 1/3 of the way down so that they are lighter. For some dogs, that's all they need to help their ears pop back up on their own.

| Yah i have heard the same things that when they are going through teething there are chemicals that are released and it sometimes affects the cartalige or something so the ears can go through different stages like up and down! I did that research tobecasue im getting a morkie in a few days! cant wait!! |

| Hi Bruinmom....I have an 8 month old morkie. When we got her, her ears were down...then up....then backwards....now they are down to stay. I guess they just go through phases! Thank goodness they are not backwards still!
