| ![]() Cody is a barker and I can deal with it inside with a water bottle. However, if there are multiple dogs or distractions outside, he doesn't care if he gets wet. I've tried to buy the "Bark Repeller" and they are out of stock (and has been for several weeks). Has anyone used the "Bark Off" which looks like a similar product? Or are there other similar products that work? |

| ![]() i cant stand barking but I always waned yorkies go figure, when i got my 1st dog he was great he didnt know how to bark for months until I got the 2nd dog, he LOVED to bark. I took them to a class and learned every time they barked when I did not want them to I would say NO barking no barking, when people would be walking towards us when on walks I said no barking they always loked around knew people were on the way. I did want them tobark at normal things like if someone knocked on the door so I when that would happen I would allow them to bark only a few times then I would say thank you when I wanted them to stop,, it took about 7 or 8 months of this, but they got it, I still said no barking to them if we were outside and people would walk toward us,, t worked about 95% of the time. When the doorbell rang or I would say come on in they would always bark. Same as with the dominos tv commercial they always barked at that too, could never teach them its the tv, but they only barked a few times if they heard it and withteh invention of the tivo dvr i usually ffw the commercials. Be paitient and consistant and praise when your dog does what you want, dogs want to please and are stubborn but smart. |
