| I'm sure he didn't want to spend the money on it. He is just a country guy and it's a business that he and his wife run on the side. I really don't care myself if he is registered. I just know we have an adorable addition to our family. The kids love him already, and so do my hubby and I. |

| It's a test to see if your pup is clear of Liver Shunt. I wouldn't have mentioned it all, but for where your purchased your pup. And then I may be a bit premature, not really knowing if the breeder tested for congential life threatening diseases on mating pairs....... Did you get a health guarantee?

| Hi. I am having the same problem! I live in Toronto and its realy cold now. I take her down just for 3-5 minutes so she will start getting used to the weather. Maya is 12 weeks old and she is 100% paper trained. When do you think I should strat training her to pee outside? at what age? and what is the best way to do that? Thanks!!! |

| An update...we put a pee pad by the back door in front of the washer, and he uses it I would say 75% of the time now! He even pooped on it this morning!! YAY!!! Now, another question... how often do they poop? Because he is only going about 1 or 2 times a day.. usually only once. I'm afraid he might be a little constipated maybe? It's kinda dry-ish, but still turd shaped. Thanks!! |

Yeah, I am feeding him what was left of the Purina puppy chow we had left. Payday I think I am gonna invest in some wet and a higher quality dry. I figured they were about alot like breastfed babies.. they eat so little, and expend so much energy they don't have a lot of waste leftover.

| Go easy when changing out food....add a few kibbles a day to his existing food and take that much away from his old food. You don't want him getting diarreah. He's a little dog and his tummy is small. He should be having at the minimum about 4 meals a day. Keep Nutri Cal on hand....don't let him over play, don't let him be over handled.....with one so small, you need to be on the lookout for hyperglycemia.

Yeah I will change it slowly. I don't have any Nutri Cal, but I did buy some Karo the other day, just in case.
