| What is a good collar/hardness So I've been training Roxy now for about a month. But everyday is a challenge because I try to put the hardness on her and she thinks I'm playing with her. That she sprints around me for me to chase her to put it on.. Any suggestions.. Instead of a hardness should I just use a collar? My friend keeps her dogs hardness on all the time but I dont know if thats a good idea.. What do you think?

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | the collar should be strictly for decoration and/or tags. you can put one on her to get her used to that too. i had a breakaway cat collar with a bell on Morgan when she was little so i knew where she was at all times. Keep doing what you are doing with the harness. Give her treats while you are putting it on and taking it off. while she has it on play with her so she focuses her attention on something other then the harness. what type of harness are you currently using?

| She let's me put it on her it just takes a little bit to put it on. She has a collar on with her charm and her rabies tag. The hardness I have wraps around her front legs and chest I bought it at petsmart.

I have a Buddy Belt and I love it. I have also had harness's at petsmart and liked them as well.. I wouldnt leave on the harness all the time, if she is at home I dont see why she would need it on.. Peanut only wears his when he is out and about with me. With these little babies it is best that you use a harness..only use a collar for her id and tags..
