the collar should be strictly for decoration and/or tags. you can put one on her to get her used to that too. i had a breakaway cat collar with a bell on Morgan when she was little so i knew where she was at all times.
Keep doing what you are doing with the harness. Give her treats while you are putting it on and taking it off. while she has it on play with her so she focuses her attention on something other then the harness.
