| She won't stop chewing and I'm going insane! EVERYTHING is a chew toy except for her chew toys. I redirect her with a toy every time she is chewing on something she isn't supposed to and I firmly tell her no and clap very loud near her and the object she isn't supposed to chew on. She has ignored her chew toys and is not responding to my clapping, my stern voice or pennies in a can etc. She just keeps chewing. Sprays and deodorant aren't working. I know she is teething but I can't get her to teeth on any kind of chew toys. Today she got behind a little cube thing that holds DVDs on my floor. She grabbed the pull piece for the blinds that was on the floor behind it. When I stomped my foot loudly (a new one) and said "No..." she ignored me and grabbed it to run. The string caught a picture frame, knocking it off onto the floor making a loud noise right behind her and she took off getting the string wrapped around her neck. She wouldn't stop pulling as it tightened. Luckily, I was on the couch and took it from around her neck but then she went right back to the string to do it again! She is FEARLESS and its really going to hurt her if she doesn't stop getting into things. The only way I can get her to stop is to crate her, which I do when I leave. She chews the toys there. Is there anything that will make this stop!? |

| When they teeth it becomes really tough for them and they look for new things to help with the discomfort With my two ... and they are just getting over their teething what did help is completely puppy proof the rooms they are in If there is anything on the floor they could ge to Take it away keep them in only the rooms they Need to be in the best toys I found are chewies that are thin that they can get into they nooks and crannies When they get into the "crazies" when they are really chewing on things pick your pup up and hold a chewie in your hand and let him go to town on it your holding it will allow him to bite down harder and you'll help him alleviate some of the discomfort that way

| Mine did too, they chewed on EVERYTHING. I don't know how long the teething stage lasts, but if I were to do it all over again, I'd xpen them in the house and let them play in there with all their toys... no getting to walls, cabinets, baseboards (yes, they chewed holes in the walls, chewed up the corners of the cabinets and baseboards), shoes, cords, etc.... I did learn to start putting things away and closing doors behind me to minimize damages, but I'd get an xpen next time with their stuff in it, toys, bed, food, water, blankets and leave them in there for most of the time. (except when Im right there to watch them like a hawk.
